Turn on your light, the light of Christ, so others can see it | restored

Your light must always be in the highest position, this light is the light of Christ, because when we are in His Word we are illuminated by it, and in the midst of darkness it lights up so that we can see, Christ is our light in the midst of the darkness

Being the light of Christ is not so that we have it hidden, but so that others can see that Christ lives and dwells in us, and thus other people will be able to see that Christ can also enter their lives, so let us be light.

Giving an example in all kinds of circumstances is the best, because wherever we are, we make His light known, and in this way people will also be able to notice that Christ is in us.

That is why we will quote a very important verse in the book of Matthew that tells us about this light. Let’s see:

15 Neither light a light and put it under a bushel,
but on the candlestick, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men,
so that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 5:15-16

Jesus speaks to us clearly and gives an example of a lamp, this so that the disciples and the crowd could understand this example about light.

Jesus tells them that for a lamp to shine it must be at a certain height so that it can shine and that everyone can see. If, on the other hand, you place it under a table, nobody will be able to see it because everything will be dark. With this, Jesus wants to tell you that we as his light must have it up high so that others can see in the dark, and thus we can teach others about God’s work in our lives.
