The Bible reminds us of the importance of the family and gives us instructions on how the different members of the family should show their love, understanding and appreciation for one another.

1 Timothy 5:8

because if someone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.

Exodus 20:12

Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged in the land that Jehovah your God is giving you.

Proverbs 22:6

Instruct the child in his way,
And even when he is old he will not depart from him.

Ephesians 5:28

So also husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
