So God wants us to handle this matter wisely. In fact we see that the Lord entrusted the administration of the earth to Adam and Eve. He wants to bless you and requires excellent administration, because God gives much to those who do well with little…

Christian Finance – Biblical Financial Concepts
1) God is the owner of everything and we are administrators (Psalm 50:10-12).
For mine is every beast of the forest, and the thousands of animals on the hills. I know all the birds of the mountains, and mine are the beasts of the field. If I were hungry, I wouldn’t tell you; Because the world is mine and the fullness thereof.
Comment 1: The Lord through the prophet Haggai also tells us: “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the Lord of hosts.” God created the heavens and the earth, and delegated its administration to man.

So we see that we are not the owners, God is the owner of everything. For this reason, our attitude towards goods and the land must rather have an awareness of responsibility before the One to whom we must give an account.
Comment 2: It is God who is in control of all things, Psalm 135:6-7. It is not we who arrange things, nor can we control the events of our life according to our own wishes. It is God who sits on his throne and rules as he wants, because he is the owner of everything.

two) The first place of our heart belongs to God (Luke 16:10-13)
He who is faithful in very little is also faithful in much; and he who is unjust in very little, is also unjust in much. For if you have not been faithful in unrighteous riches, who will trust you with what is true? And if you were not faithful in what belongs to others, who will give you what is yours? No serf can serve two masters; for he will either hate the one and love the other, or cling to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and riches
Comment: This passage allows us to see several very important things:
a) The little is an opportunity that shows how our heart will behave in much.
b) Infidelity in what is foreign not only reflects infidelity in one’s own, but also prevents receiving what God wants to give.
c) Money competes for the throne in the heart of the son of God (“No one can serve two masters, because he will hate the one and love the other, or esteem the one and despise the other”).
d) Our financial decisions evidence an inner spiritual condition. For example, if we bribe an authority, if we pass contraband through customs, if we lie on our tax return or buy things of dubious origin (stolen for example) we show that who is sitting on the throne of the heart is not Christ but the god of money. .

3) God designed work (Genesis 2:15).
So the LORD God took the man, and put him in the Garden of Eden to till it and keep it.
Comment 1: God entrusts Adam and Eve with the Garden of Eden. The Bible tells us: “So that he will till it and take care of it.” It was all part of God’s blessing for his children. When sin appears the work becomes more difficult: Genesis 3:17-19.
Comment 2: Scripture teaches us that God values work: 2 Thessalonians 3:10 “If anyone does not want to work, he must not eat either.” To Israel God entrusted: “Six days you will work”.
Colossians 3:22-24Servants, obey in everything to your We love after the flesh, not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but with simplicity of heart, fearing God. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as for the Lord and not for men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; because you serve Christ the Lord” reminds us that when we work for God we serve, and work develops character:
a) Diligence, b) Honesty, c) Respect for authorities,
d) Training, e) Effort, f) Loyalty.
4) God is our provider (Genesis 22:13-14).
Then Abraham raised his eyes, and looked, and behold a ram behind him caught in a thicket by its horns; and Abraham went, and he took the ram, and offered it as a burnt offering instead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place, Jehovah will provide. Therefore it is said today: In the mount of the Lord shall be provided
Comment 1: God had given Abraham the promised son: Isaac, but in this chapter the Lord asks for him as a sacrifice and Abraham obediently takes him to Mount Moriah. There God provides a ram for the sacrifice and Isaac was not sacrificed, all this was a test for Abraham. The Lord did not forsake his servant but sent provision in the midst of the crisis.

Comment 2: When we seek God, the Lord blesses, that is why the Bible says: “but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” Matthew 6:33. Our provider is not really the business, nor this or that person, our provision comes from God who made the heavens and the earth.

Comment 3: God has not changed, he took care of his people in the desert and for forty years he sent them his provision, Jesus multiplied five loaves and two fish to feed more than five thousand people, God himself in the midst of the drought gave order and sent ravens that they bring bread and meat to the prophet Elijah, we can rest and trust in the Lord because it is written: “My God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” Phil. 4:19.
Final reflection: Walking with God and following his laws will result in a great blessing, for example: “But the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man… and all that he did, the Lord made prosperous in his hand” Gen. 39:2-3.
