God is looking for men and women who know what holiness really is, and in this time of reform where he is aligning his children to his righteousness we must have revelation and discernment about this important attribute of God.
What is holiness?
Holiness is a spiritual garment, it means being consecrated, separated exclusively for a plan and purpose. It is to be available for the exclusive use of God. When you are separated only for God, you do not lend yourself to; To criticize, to gossip, to watch pornography, keep your walk and think for Christ. That is the dress that God wants you to keep.
God is in search of men who are uniquely exclusive to him. We could say that there are areas in your life that should be consecrated solely for God, and dedicated only for the exclusive use of God, consecrate your body for him, your hands, your ears, your eyes, your walk, for his use, your speech. , express the language of the kingdom.
What is not holiness?
Holiness has nothing to do with outward appearance and form, it is not about keeping regulations and rules that have been set by men.
Where does holiness come from and how do we acquire it?
God is holy in: Revelation 4:8 we clearly find that God is “holy, holy, holy” is the only attribute of God that is emphasized by repeating itself.
- God has countless attributes, wisdom, love, power, and each of us human beings reflect each of these attributes in a minimal way, in some way we reflect and express that attribute.
- Holiness is an attribute that cannot be found outside of God, you can know God according to the measure that you know the holiness of God, if we do not know his holiness we do not know God.
God demands the holiness of his children that is the will of God,
- Holiness cannot be acquired from anyone else. We thank God for his goodness, we praise him for his greatness, but we adore him for his perfect holiness.
- Worship is the response of God’s holiness, when you see greatness, feel the holy spirit. When you encounter the holiness of God, you want to worship. God is the only one who is worshiped for holy, holy, holy.
- God demands the holiness of his children, that is the will of God, that we turn away from sin and be holy just as he is holy.
- Most of the believers do not enter into the inheritance that God has. The inheritance is only for those who make the decision to sanctify themselves.
- If God is holy we must be holy, so that, in order to receive and enjoy the inheritance, we and our children.
What is the way to acquire holiness?
- Some believers under the spirit of religion seeking to sanctify themselves “fall into Legalism” What is legalism? It is a bond where people want to walk in holiness by human rules, people so that they keep forms, laws, regulations, external forms, and they are judges. Because according to them they are holy: they believe that holiness has to do with the external. With the way they dress, if the women paint themselves, if they wear earrings. That’s legalism, the human way, and it turns out that God doesn’t take that for holiness.

How to walk in holiness?
When we have desires for holiness, desires to change, holiness is not earned, holiness is acquired through Christ, it comes from a determination of the heart to start leaving the old structures.
There is a nature in every human being that is called rebellious. Each of us has an Adamic nature that is rebellious. There are two lords, Mr. Sin and Mr. Jesus. Lord sin ruled us before, Lord Jesus is someone who gives us freedom to serve him. Whoever believes that freedom is not submitting to anyone, well no.
We are governed by who we give our members to. In other words we have the rebel here, we have to deal with him. Take out all the torrents of iniquity. Rebel they call the flesh, ego, old man. We must live in holiness to please God
How do we get that rebel out?
A simple and easy solution to deal with such a rebel is execution. The old man was crucified with Jesus, but because the rebel gets out, because one thing is theory, another is practice. Jesus did it on the cross, to be a saint you must execute the rebel. The steps are the following:
- 1.- I make a decision that Jesus is our lord, presenting before him our body, hands, eyes will not look at what I should not see, present the members, thus you execute the rebel. Before, sin did not leave us, but after the cross you are free to choose whether to continue sinning or to stop.

What is holiness of God?
The holiness of God is his intrinsic and eminent purity, the standard of nobility to which the entire universe must accede. God does not consent to any model created by man. He is the model. Therefore, he demands that his creation be made to conform to his pattern and designs.
Relevant aspects of the holiness of God
- God is Majestic in all the expression of his being.
What is being majestic?
That it is capable of communicating admiration and respect for its solemnity, kindness or greatness.
Who is like you, majestic in holiness, fearsome in praiseworthy deeds, doer of wonders?”
The biblical text clearly and simply indicates that majesty is intertwined with holiness, that is, majesty is a component for the definition of his holiness. It is the awesome character and characteristic of God, along with holiness.
In the Bible of the Americas we find in Isaiah 6.3 “And one cried to the other, saying: Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, the whole earth is full of his glory.
- The holiness of God is what allows us to be able to reach and find meaning in everything that has to do with him. This attribute submerges all other attributes of it.
- His love is holy love.
- His omniscience is holy omniscience.
- His omnipresence is holy omnipresence. Everything has been permeated by this defining attribute of God called holiness. God even calls himself by that name.
- Throughout the Old and New Testaments he is called “The Saint”.
When Mary sang her praise to God after the announcement that she would be the mother of the Savior, she said in Luke 1:49: “…for the mighty has done great things for me. His name is holy.”
God’s holiness is fundamental to understanding who and what he is. Nowhere in Scripture is God called “love, love, love”; “everlasting, everlasting, everlasting”; or “true, true, true.” He is never emphatically called by any other name, except that of
“Holy, holy, holy is Jehovah of Hosts!” (Isa, 6:3).
Whenever you see three such words in the Bible, you are reading an emphatic statement that is outstanding, or key, something that you should not fail to distinguish. At the center of what God is, appears his holiness. God swears by his holiness (Ps. 89:35). Why? Because holiness is the maximum expression of his character; because it explains to the maximum what he is.
The Bible declares that God’s law is holy (Rom. 7:12), and that God is holy in all his being (Levi 19:2).
Holiness is the outstanding attribute, the determining quality, the essential of who God is.
