The power of patience and soft response | restored

When we talk about patience, we are referring to the fact that everything we do must be done with love and dedication, and not be like these people who get angry at anything and don’t have patience.

The following Biblical quote tells us that we must be patient for the prince to appease.

With long patience the prince appeases,
And the soft tongue breaks the bones.

Proverbs 25:15

These comparisons and moral lessons said by Solomon, are for those people who have no patience in anything they do, and who do not stop and ask themselves, will I be okay?, but continue with their mistake, and continue with that failure Until they stop and analyze they will not get out of their mistake and they will not know that for everything to go well you have to learn to be patient.

Smoothness: to speak without passion or provocation. “The soft tongue breaks the bones.” The bone is a very hard substance and serves as a simile here, a soft word softens the hardest spirits and prevails over the most angry men.

When we do not have mercy, we speak in a way to mistreat others, and that regardless of how the other feels. This is what people who are not soft-spoken do.

We can understand that every day we are going to meet this type of people, some who are strong and others who are weak.

It is important that we who have the ability to speak lovingly and compassionately help others who are not soft-tongued.

It is good that we reflect, and that when we address a person, we first think about what we are going to say to him, because due to a mispronounced word, this person’s self-esteem can fall. That is why it is good that we keep this pending, that Solomon was referring to the fact that at that time there were people with that lifestyle, and that there are still some like this today.

Now, therefore, do not be afraid;

I will support you and your children.

Thus he comforted them, and spoke to them from the heart.

Genesis 50:21
