In celebration of Mother’s Day, celebrated on the second Sunday of May (this year on the 13th), Instituto was the stage for beautiful tributes, and prepared, on the 9th and 10/05th, a special program, organized with lots of love and affection so that all mothers felt honored by their children.
As every year, the moments are exciting and the opportunity for an experience of love is renewed in the gentle encounters between mothers and children…
The festivities began on Wednesday, 05/09, at four different times, with the Elementary School I classes. After the reception, the dear mothers were surprised with a prayer moment, songs, delivery of cards and lots of declarations of love . A welcoming and cozy atmosphere even included food and drinks that made the tributes even sweeter.
“I felt such great love… Seeing my son sing with his eyes fixed on me, that was the best gift a mother could receive,” says Samantha Zanin Ligabo, mother of Luiz Henrique, in 3rd year A.
In addition to the surprise being wonderful, celebrating this significant date is always good as it further strengthens the bonds between mothers, children and school. According to Keila Andreolle, mother of Lucas Andreolle Cotrim, in 2nd year C, “be a mother It’s learning to love beyond all expectations. It’s taking strength from your children’s smiles to face life’s challenges.”
But it’s not just mothers who get emotional at these moments. The children show a mix of anxiety, emotion and joy before, during and after the presentations, made with so much care. For student Maria Cecília Hoelz, in 5th grade C, mothers are so perfect that it is difficult to describe, but she made a point of leaving the message on record: “Mother means being sincere, it means loving, it means expressing feelings. You have so many difficulties, but you remain excited, always full of stories to tell! You imagine and make the world more than a planet, but a place of wonders.”
On Thursday night, 10/05, at the São Paulo Auditorium, at the Community headquarters, it was the turn of the 6th year to 3rd year high school classes to show affection and gratitude to the mothers present. The students performed a beautiful tribute with prayer, dance performance, poetry and music, and turned the night into an unforgettable date.
Meanwhile, at the Dom João Hipólito de Morais Evangelization Center, the celebration of the Early Childhood Education classes was taking place, under the theme “Mother: The Star is You”.
Initially, the mothers were welcomed by the entire team involved. Then, they were surprised by the “Special Corner of Our Lady”, a space lovingly prepared to record this important moment with their children. Throughout the event, mothers were honored with dinner and live music. Musical performances, gift giving and exchanges of affection made this day the happiest!
Continuing the celebrations, on May 14th, ICN collaborating mothers participated in a festive lunch, celebrating Mother’s Day. The activity was organized by the Internal Initiative team of the Educational Center. They also received a keychain from the Father of Mercies as a loving souvenir, a sign of love and faith.
