Prayer asking for victory | restored

We as Christians are always in an intense fight and the only person who can give us victory is called God, it doesn’t matter that we spend all our strength on it, if God is not with us we are fighting in vain. It is good that you put all your burdens on our Creator and I assure you that He will give you a great victory.

Our reflection for today is found in Psalm chapter 20, let’s read quickly:

1 Jehovah hear you in the day of conflict; The name of the God of Jacob defend you. 2 Help you from the sanctuary, and from Zion sustain you. 3 Make memory of all your offerings, and accept your holocaust. Selah. 4 I give you according to the desire of your heart, and fulfill all your advice. 5 We will rejoice in your salvation, and we will raise a banner in the name of our God; Jehovah grant all your requests. 6 Now I know that Jehovah saves his anointed; he will hear it from his holy heaven with the saving power of his right hand. 7 These trust in chariots, and those in horses; but we of the name of Jehovah our God will have memory. 8 They falter and fall, but we rise up and stand. 9 Save, Jehovah; may the King hear us on the day we call upon him.

The first thing is that we as human beings do not deserve God’s favor in the slightest, however, the sovereign God, regardless of our condition, gives us great support from heaven and we praise God on this day for his great mercies.

We know that King David found himself in various extremely difficult situations, but we learn that God gave him victory in each one of them.

We want to highlight verse 7:

7 These trust in chariots, and those in horses; but we of the name of Jehovah our God will have memory.

In the same way we, although the world trusts in its weapons, in its governments and in all its pleasures, we have memory of the powerful works that our creator has done, and we rejoice in them, and this creates an indescribable confidence within us. .

Therefore, it is important that our trust is placed in the God of heaven, since our victory comes from heaven.
