Novena of Our Lady of Aparecida

Prayer for every day
Most pure Virgin, conceived without sin, and from that first moment all beautiful and without blemish, glorious Mary, full of grace, Mother of my God, Queen of angels and men: I humbly greet you as Mother of my Savior, who with that esteem, respect and submission, with which I treated you, taught me what honors and veneration I should give you; I beseech you, deign to receive what I consecrate to you in this Novena. You are the safe asylum of penitent sinners, and so I have reason to have recourse to you; you are Mother of mercy, and by this title you cannot help but be moved by the sight of my miseries; after Jesus Christ you are all my hope, and for this reason you cannot fail to recognize the tender trust I have in you; make me worthy to call me your son, so that I can confidently say to you: show that you are our Mother!
First day
Here I am at your most holy feet, O Immaculate Virgin! With you I rejoice greatly, because from eternity you were elected Mother of the eternal Word and preserved from original guilt. I bless and give thanks to the Holy Trinity, who enriched you with this privilege in your Conception, and we humbly beseech you to grant me the grace to overcome the sad effects that sin produced in me. Oh! Lord, make me overcome them and never stop loving my God.
Second day
O Mary, immaculate lily of purity, I congratulate you, because from the first moment of your Conception you were full of grace and, in addition, you were given the perfect use of reason. I give thanks and adore the Holy Trinity, which granted you such sublime gifts; and I am completely confused in your presence to see myself so poor in grace. You, who have been so copiously enriched by heavenly grace, share it with my soul and make me partaker of the treasures that you began to possess in your immaculate Conception.
Third day
O Mary, mystical rose of purity, I rejoice with you, who gloriously triumphed over the infernal serpent, in your immaculate Conception, and who were conceived without stain of sin. I give thanks and praise to the Holy Trinity, which has granted you such a privilege, and I beg you to give me the strength to overcome all the traditions of the common enemy, and not to stain my soul with sin. Oh! Lady, always help me, and make those who, with your protection, always triumph over all the enemies of our eternal salvation.
Fourth day
O mirror of purity, Immaculate Virgin Mary, I am filled with great joy to see that since your Conception, the most sublime virtues have been infused into you and, at the same time, all the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I give thanks and praise to the Holy Trinity, which has favored you with these privileges; and I beseech you, oh benign Mother, to reach for me the practice of virtues, and also make me worthy to receive the gifts and grace of the Holy Spirit.
Fifth day
O Mary, refulgent moon of purity, I congratulate you, because the mystery of your Immaculate Conception was the beginning of the salvation of the entire world. I give thanks and bless the Holy Trinity, which thus magnified and glorified your person, and I beg you to grant me the grace to know how to benefit from the Passion and Death of your Jesus, and that his blood shed on the cross is not useless for me, but may I live holy and save my soul.
Sixth day
O shining star of purity, may the Immaculate Conception cause immense joy to all the angels of paradise. I give thanks and bless the Holy Trinity, which has enriched you with such a beautiful privilege. Oh! Lady, grant that I may one day be part of this joy and that I may, in the company of the angels, praise and bless you eternally.
Seventh day
O nascent and pure dawn, Immaculate Mary, I rejoice and exult with you because at the same moment of your Conception, you were confirmed in grace and made flawless. I give thanks and exalt the Holy Trinity, which only distinguished you with this special privilege, Ah! Holy Virgin, obtain for me a total and continuous abhorrence of sin above all other evils, and that I should rather die than commit it again.
Eighth day
O blemishless sun, Virgin Mary, I congratulate you and I am glad that in your Conception a greater and more copious grace was conferred upon you by God than all the Angels and all the Saints had at the height of their merits. I give thanks and admire the supreme goodness of the Holy Trinity, which has enriched you with such a privilege. Oh! Lady, make me respond to divine grace, and not abuse it again; change my heart, and make my repentance begin from now on.
Ninth Day
O living light of holiness and example of purity, Virgin and Mother, Holy Mary, you, just conceived, deeply adored God and gave him thanks, because, through you, the ancient curse lifted, a great blessing came upon the children of Adam. Oh! Lady, let this blessing ignite in my heart a great love for God; inflame him, so that he constantly loves the same Lord, and then enjoys eternally in Paradise, where he can give him the most vivid thanks for the singular privileges granted to you and can also see you crowned with such a great victory.
Jaculatory (at the end of every day):
Lady Aparecida, miraculous Patron Saint, be our guide in this deadly career! O Virgin Aparecida, shrine of the Redeemer, give your power and value to the fainting soul. O Virgin Aparecida, faithful and safe north, obtain graces for us in life, favor us in death! Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory.
