Matthew 6:33 Seek First The Kingdom Of God And His Justice.

Many people have priorities in their lives, which are full of activities that take them from day to day, if you have other priorities before God, today I want to share this word and I know that it will be a blessing for your life and so you can receive what that the Lord has reserved for you, just by believing and doing what in Matthew 6:33 speaks to us

On this occasion I want to briefly address the issue of life’s priorities, that is, the order of precedence of one thing over another.

It is impossible to live without an established scale of priorities.

No one can do 10 physical tasks at the same time, you must establish an order to be able to carry them all out satisfactorily. Even nature itself in certain tasks establishes an order that must be executed, such as the movement of plants, the life cycle of living beings, the functioning of many vital organs in our body, among others.

But the main reason why we cannot live without priorities in our life is because the God who created us is a God of order. The God who made the heavens and the earth and everything in it is so powerful that he could have made everything when it exists with just one word from his mouth and all at the same time, but He simply did not want to do it that way, instead established an order for the creation of all things. As it is in:

(Genesis 1:1-2)

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, darkness was on the face of the deep, and the spirit of God moved over the face of the waters.”

The God that we are presenting to you, whom we serve and adore, teaches in his Word (1 Corinthians 14:40) “But do everything decently and in order.” who delights in decency and order and sets us up as a model for us to imitate.

Take advantage of occasions when some make or review plans.

Secondly, we consider it important to address the issue of priorities in life because there are moments when it seems appropriate to make plans or review those that we have made previously. For example, many of us take advantage of the end of the year time to analyze what its development was like, and from there establish new goals and objectives. Likewise, it is common for those who make plans at the end of the year or at any other time to stop every three, four or six months to review the execution of what was planned in order to see its due fulfillment.

It is important to note that all planning implicitly and necessarily leads to the establishment of priorities, since if this is not done it will be impossible to put the plan into practice, because as we saw in the first reason, it is impossible to live without established priorities.

Having explained the reasons that motivate us to talk about this subject, I now want to encourage you to review your priorities, since our priorities say a lot about what kind of person we are and God is interested in men living with correct priorities. We all live according to priorities, but that doesn’t mean we all have the right priorities.

the model of priorities that Christ left for his disciples to live correctly for you to consider if you really want to live what the Word of God defines as the true life. What is according to the Lord Jesus Christ the main priority of the children of God? Matthew 6:33 gives us the explanation: seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 6:33 a Promise for those who believe.

This declaration of the Lord Jesus Christ is part of one of the longest and most famous teachings known as The Sermon on the Mount that begins in chapter 5 of the Gospel of Matthew and concludes in chapter 7, and becomes the conclusion of the theme that begins deal with in chapter 6 verse 19. It is therefore important that we see what things Christ is talking about and then conclude with verse 33. In verses 19 to 21 he talks about laying up treasures.

(Matthew 6:19-21) “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and mildew destroy, and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moths nor mildew destroy, and where thieves do not break in or steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

I invite you to read: Obedience To God As The Principle Of The Kingdom, Brings The Greatest Reward

Christ does not prohibit making treasures, but rather changes the focus of where those treasures should be made, in heaven and not on earth, and the reasons he gives for doing so allow us to see his great wisdom, because what is done here on the earth have many risks, because they are corrupted and can be stolen, but it is not like that with the treasures that are made in heaven. But also notice a very important principle expressed here, where you have your treasures, that is where you will really have your heart.

Jesus teaches us that the treasures for which we must work are those of the kingdom of God, since these are treasures that last for eternity, and that doing them on earth guarantees our eternal life after physical death. Even not only after death but here and now, that you prioritize the kingdom of God and fight to lower the designs that He has established in heaven for your life.

Matthew 6:33 Seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness

here is the key to have a victorious life in Christ and be totally free of worries. But how many of us really understand what this means? What did Jesus mean by this? How do we apply it? To understand Matthew 6:33 we must also study its context.

Matthew 6:25-27 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the sky, which sow us, nor reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?

We can find an introduction to this promise of the Lord when Jesus exhorts us not to worry about material needs like food, housing and other basic necessities. The way in which Jesus describes these needs includes every possible need that the human being may have and not only the material ones. He even contrasts us with his other creations that are of lesser value and importance than we are (ie plants and animals).

Here Jesus tells us that if He provides everything they need to creations that are less than us who are His highest creation made in the image and likeness of God (Gen 1:26), in Matthew 6 He comforts us by telling us that He knows of what things we need before we tell him and even before we ourselves realize it because He is omniscient. How is he not going to supply all our needs much more abundantly than the rest of creation? And if we know that God Himself created us and the entire universe, we also know that He is more than enough to supply everything we need.

I suggest you read this interesting post: God Gives You Security In Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear that I am with you.

In Romans 8:32 he confirms that He will give us all things when the apostle Paul says: “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also give us with him all things?” ?”. So if our Heavenly Father gave us the greatest, most important and most valuable thing in the universe, why would he skimp on giving us other things as well? We are so important to God that he gave his life his beloved son Jesus Christ so that we may have abundant life and lack nothing.

We can also understand that Jesus invites us to totally depend on Him for all things and put all our trust in Him; knowing that He always wants and can work in our favor. In it psalm 37 we found a promise it states to Matthew 6:33 (Psalm 37:5)”Commit your way to the Lord, and trust him; and he will. And in verse 34 he tells us “Wait for the Lord, and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the earth”).

We clearly see that God requires of us total dependence and trust in Him, this is the only way that those of us who serve God can have victory and have a successful life in both spiritual and secular matters. In this way we can live free of all worries in faith knowing that the Lord will provide all things.

In Matthew 6:33 Jesus tells us show how to achieve this promise of blessing indicating that we must meet two conditions for us to see the realization of “all these things will be added to you”. These are seek firstly the God’s Kingdom and second look for your Justice. First, he tells us to look for what requires an effort on our part and we know that everyone who searches finds, as he says in (Matthew 7:8) “For everyone who asks receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to whom he knocks, it will be opened ”. If you ask the Lord to show you his kingdom and his justice and you are really looking for it, he will bring it to you.

Meaning of the kingdom of God and his justice

meaning of the kingdom of god

The Kingdom is a king taking dominion over a territory. Heaven was never made for man to live in. heaven was made for bring it to earth, since the beginning; God exported his kingdom to earth with Adam and told him to rule the world.

This is the gospel of the Kingdom, a king bringing dominion over a territory. Plato said that there are different types of government. One is the monarchy, which is a king or good man ruling over a territory; then it is the aristocracy, which is a bunch of good men ruling over a territory. There is the oligarchy, where several bad men rule a territory; and fourth, the lowest form of government is Democracy. Democracy came from Greece and Rome, in which one man is elected to be in authority. Citizens decide who is going to govern them, just like us. It is the people all governing through the vote. In our countries we understand democracy well but we do not understand the Kingdom.

When we come to the church we ask for rights, that’s why there are so many demands. In a democracy one enters to have authority through the vote. In heaven there is no democracy, there it is through lineage; You are born to rule, to be a king within the kingdom you have to be born again and that gives you entry. I didn’t vote to get you into the kingdom, you were born or birthed into that kingdom. I added one more form of government, which is Anarchy, which is self-government; each governs himself and submits to no other government. All these ways of government exist on earth and we understand them.

When we come to church we want the same thing, to be promoted, to be given the place we “deserve”. We do not believe that there is a King who has authority; and tyranny is when a bad man is ruling by force, fear and oppression.

(Isaiah 53:6) “We all have strayed like sheep, each one has turned to his own way; but the LORD has laid upon him the…
