I patiently waited for Jehovah

When we are in difficulties, it is best that we say like the psalmist: “I waited patiently for the Lord.”

Beautiful friend, do not despair, because God does listen to your prayers. Her ears are attentive to your pleas, the promise will be fulfilled, your answer is ready to meet your need.

And the obvious question is: Until when? Because you already have a time that is considered considerable crying out for this situation.

You know? The psalmist also felt that affliction when he did not see the answer to his prayers and in the book of Psalms we find that 14 times he asked this question:

“Until when, Lord?”

The answer is in the verse that concerns us today: Wait patiently in God’s time. The Bible says:

«I patiently waited for the Lord, and he bowed down to me, and heard my cry». Psalm 40:1

What does “I patiently waited” mean?

It means that your cry must be from your calm heart, because you have the certainty that God will listen and respond. Patience always goes hand in hand with faith. God does not pay attention to your despair, but to your faith and your patience.

Patience is a virtue that every believer in Jesus must cultivate… God wants us to be patient, that we learn to wait for His right time.

This is very important, because it confirms your faith.

You already know that God will act in your favor, so you say to your emotions and feelings: “Be calm, wait on God, because I am still going to praise him for his goodness towards me… I know that he will answer me” (Psalm 42:5 ).

Remember: patience is the ability to wait without stressing, without worrying… Patience is sure that the answer will come and is not altered by anything.

In your own strength it is very difficult to achieve it, but the Holy Spirit is your helper and He will help you to cultivate this fruit. It is one of his tasks in your life.

Dear friend, share this message if you liked it, so you will help our community of promise hunters grow. I would love to read your comment and greet you. May God give you the necessary strength to hope in Him, your friend,
