Uzziah dared to burn incense on the incense altar and was struck with leprosy as a punishment from God (2 Chronicles 26:16). Hezekiah’s heart was proud after the Lord healed him. His pride brought the wrath of God not only against him, but also against all Judah and Jerusalem (2 Chronicles 32:25-26).
