The afflictions of the righteous | restored

The Bible tells us a lot about affliction and the book of Psalms is an expert on these topics. David went through many tribulations, many times he felt abandoned by God, but he knew that the God in whom he believed never left him and in the same way we have to believe that this God accompanies us in all our tribulations and that when we see that He is far away is when He is closest to us.

The psalmist said:

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But Jehovah will deliver him from all of them.

20 He guards all his bones;
Not one of them is broken.

21 Evil will kill the wicked,
And those who hate the righteous will be condemned.

22 Jehovah redeems the soul of his servants,
And those who trust in him will not be condemned.

Psalms 34: 19-22

The psalmist says: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous.” The question is: why are there so many? Well, there are many because we live in a world full of injustices, where evil is increasing, where man prefers evil over good, and in a world like this it is difficult to live justly and this attracts multitudes of afflictions. . And this is for us today, carrying this title of Christian makes us self-conscious about many things and, of course, this brings many afflictions to our lives, but best of all, the psalmist says that despite the fact that the righteous has many afflictions, from all of them Jehovah will deliver him.

God freed many men from the Bible from great afflictions and that should serve as consolation to us, that the same God is the same today and is there to free us from all our afflictions, no matter how difficult a time we are going through .
