Verses from Psalm 142 from the book of Psalms in the Bible.
1
With a loud voice I cry out to the Lord;
I lift my voice to the Lord,
begging for mercy.
two
I pour out my lament before him;
I present my anguish to him.
3
When my spirit is discouraged,
you are the one who knows the way
that I must follow.
On the path where I walk
they hid a trap against me.
4
Look to my right and see;
no one cares about me.
I have no safe shelter;
Nobody cares about my life.
5
I cry out to you, Lord, and say:
You are my refuge;
You are all I have in the land of the living.
6
Heed my cry,
for I am very dejected;
deliver me from those who persecute me,
because they are stronger than me.
7
Free me from prison,
and I will give thanks to your name.
Then the righteous will gather around me
because of your kindness to me.
