Prayer to the Lord of Mercy it is one of the most powerful weapons that God has given us, and looking ahead to 2020, I think it has never been more important for God’s people to be on their knees. But knowing how to pray is not always easy. The disciples of Jesus felt the same confusion.
They were familiar with the frequent prayers of the Torah. But Jesus prayed with a kind of authority and power they had never seen before, as if God were listening! So when they came to Jesus, as it says in Matthew 6, they didn’t say, “Teach us another prayer.” They said, “Lord, teach us to pray.”
It is a beautiful prayer that every Christian should hide in his heart. I challenged my granddaughter to memorize it. As elegant as the words are, I don’t think Jesus intended it to become another ritualistic prayer.
Prayers to ask for a favor
We always go at some point to need to make a prayer before the Lord of mercy to ask for a favor. When we do this, it is very important that we can believe that He can fulfill each of these prayers and help us to materialize. Believe that God has the power to make this prayer real.
Faithful Father, thank you for being the resurrection
and life, death has no power over you.
The power you used to conquer
death now lives in me.
Use your power to perform miracles
to make a breakthrough in my life.
Can I know your conquering power, today Lord?
Hear my prayer.
You have loved me and set me free
of my sins with your blood.

Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you that,
on the basis of your merit,

abundant and eternal.
Arouse confidence in me so that I can
receive all the blessings you have prepared for me.

I ask a special favor today.
If it is your holy will, grant me my request
and fix my eyes on you so that I can honor
and glorify your name.
Lord, my God, eternal Father,
thank you because you are my help
always present in difficult times.
Help me to trust what is not seen.
Remind me of the truth of your power,
that you surround me and fight for me.
Give me favor and advance in my life.
You are the King of the centuries, immortal, invisible, the only God.
To you be honor and glory forever and ever.

The demons flee.

The importance and power of prayer
Prayer to the Lord of Mercy is a conversation with God, and every conversation begins by addressing the person you are speaking to by name. Jesus begins with “Our Father in heaven.”
It focuses on a different person: Heavenly Father with whom you have a personal relationship, nevertheless, cWe share the same right to call God “Father”, and there are times when we need to talk to our father Abba, papa God. For this reason God is three different persons in one: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
It is important that you know that at all times we can raise a prayer to the Lord of Mercy so that he is always there to meet us, especially when we need him most. We are living difficult times in the world and we need the powerful and beautiful hand of God to always hold us and help us so that everything goes well since He is always in control.
