O God, creator of the universe, who revealed yourself to men, through the centuries, through Holy Scripture, and led your servant Saint Jerome to dedicate his life to the study and meditation of the Bible, give me the grace to understand clearly your word when I read the Bible.
Saint Jerome, enlighten and clarify all followers of the evangelical sects so that they understand the Scriptures, and realize that they contradict the Catholic religion and the Bible itself, because they are based on pagan and superstitious principles; help us to consider the teaching that comes to us from the Bible above any other doctrine, since it is the word and teaching of God himself. Make all men accept and follow the guidance of our common Father expressed in the Holy Scriptures.
