Prayer to Saint Frei Galvão asking for miracles through his intercession

Pray with São Frei Galvão and obtain the grace you need

The Church in Brazil celebrates, on October 25th, the birthday of Saint Frei Galvão. Say your prayer and ask for your miracle through the intercession of this Brazilian saint.

Prayer

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

“God, our Father, who for Your immense love gave us Friar Galvão and, through him, carried out admirable works, we thank You for such a great gift.

Thank you, Lord, for your life, for your great work, for remembering us through Your servant and our brother Frei Galvão.

May our life be a word and sign of Your Kingdom.

Help us to grow in wisdom, age and grace, to grow more and more in the concrete and historical experience of fraternal love, sharing who we are and what we have, especially with those most in need.

Make us instruments of your love: wherever there are poor, marginalized and needy, let us, like Frei Galvão, bring the bread of friendly and supportive presence, which translates into concrete gestures of solidarity and promotion of life.

Lord, give us to welcome, with a joyful heart, all the brothers who pass through our lives, seeking peace, joy, words of comfort and a friendly presence.

Awaken us to love and devotion to Your Most Holy Mother, help us to always venerate her as the Immaculate and proclaim her holy with our words, and especially with our lives.

Grant that we will always be your children, and that we will always turn to you, now and at the hour of our death.

Lord, who poured out Your Holy Spirit on Frei Galvão, and through him performed wonders, pour out Your Spirit upon us, rekindling in us the fire of love, of missionary ardor.

Increase our faith!

Grant that we place ourselves before You as Your faithful servants, obedient to Your Word.

I ask You, for everything that Your servant Friar Antônio de Sant’Anna Galvão did and suffered, to increase faith, hope and charity in me, and to grant me the grace that I ardently desire.

Amen.”
