Glorious Saint Joseph, model for all who dedicate themselves to work, obtaining from the Creator of the universe the grace to work with conscience, faithfully fulfilling our duty to work with recognition and joy, considering it an honor to employ and develop, through work, the qualities received from God as a divine call to collaborate in the work of creation and perfection of this world. The grace to work with order, peace, moderation, patience and efficiency, without ever backing down in the face of fatigue and difficulties; of working in a spirit of penitence to atone for our sins; to work, above all, with detachment and dedication for those who depend on our efforts.

We ask for your intercession for the world of work, so that the Christian spirit of justice and peace reigns there, in accordance with the teachings of ; that workers unite in organizations that defend their rights and respect those of others; that employers and employees treat each other as brothers and children of the same Father, that those who ignore the dignity of the human person and exploit the worker and the poor must convert.
With you, Saint Joseph, we thank God for the health, strength, disposition and skills that allow us to provide for our families and be useful members of the community. Everything for Jesus, everything for Mary, everything in your imitation, O patriarch Saint Joseph! Such will be our inspiration in life and death.
