Pray without ceasing It is when you recognize that you need the presence of God, that without him you could not have the way to get out unscathed from the adverse situations and circumstances of life. It is knowing that by approaching him, you trust in his power, and his majesty, knowing that only he gives us the means to overcome any complication. Praying without ceasing is a fervent prayer that activates faith in a supernatural way, opens a channel of blessings, and what you have requested from heaven is established on earth.
The Bible says, “…whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18).
God has delegated authority to us on this earth, and when we appropriate that authority, He unleashes supernatural power upon those believers who decide to snatch it from heaven. Having the understanding that it is only the power of God and not ours, recognizing that we are only the vessel that the Lord uses to flow.
So that every time we pray, we conquer that power over everything for which we continue to intercede, in this sense, let it work through our weakness. Praying fills us with the holy spirit and this makes us fall exhausted, we humble ourselves before the presence of God. Praying without ceasing in the name of Jesus is a fundamental and important key to the power of God.
Jesus said, “…Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give you” (John 16:23).
This gives us authority over the enemy and is proof that there is faith in God to conceive what his message promises. The Lord knows each of our thoughts and all our needs, the most beautiful thing is that he promises to answer each prayer and fulfills his promise, since God does not lie. Even if we trust him and obey him, praying in the name of Jesus. Prayer will not only affect us. It also penetrates and intervenes in those for whom we pray.
When each believer intercedes for children, people, homes, cities, and the entire nation, we are asking God to make his presence part of everything and to work with power in favor of everything. It is not to say that an immediate response will always happen. Sometimes it can take some time; days, weeks, months or even years. But we have the promise that no prayer is lost. If we are praying we must trust that in the spiritual world there is a movement, a work that God is doing, it does not matter if we see it or not, we must have faith. The Bible says:
“…The effective prayer of the righteous can do much” (James 5:16).
What is praying without ceasing?
Is a fervent prayer, God knows what our requests are, he knows what are the battles we fight daily against the powers of darkness and he is more willing to save us and face our need than we are to ask. Our attitude of praying without ceasing should be a fervent prayer.
After commanding that we put on the armor that God has provided, Paul writes:
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” (Ephesians 6:18).
We need to be led by the holy spirit every time we enter into intimacy with God to pray without ceasing, because without God we really don’t know what to ask for or how to pray fervently. The Lord gives us the necessary help when he sees the passion with which we ask for it, since we do it with the holy spirit on our side, to achieve the grace of God.
The word “God’s help” It beautifully describes how the spirit stands by our side, lifts us up, and carries us before the throne of grace. Prayer in the spirit helps us to bridge the abyss of necessity that we do not know how to cross. Every prayer that is made without ceasing, that God the Holy Spirit inspires us, is a prayer that God our heavenly Father always answers.

Aspects that produce praying without ceasing
1.- Pray without ceasing for spiritual sight
There are several specific needs that we should consider as objectives for prayer in our spiritual warfare. One need has to do with the blinding condition that Satan has inflicted on unbelievers.
(2 Corinthians 4:3,4). A person cannot come to Christ unless his spiritual eyes are opened. If the enemy has blinded and chained men and women, how is it possible to see souls saved? This is the point where you and I enter the picture. Looting the strong man has to do with freeing those whom Satan has blinded and keeps in chains» This is where praying without ceasing comes in, without fainting believing»
Praying without ceasing is the fundamental weapon to combat spiritual blindness. The Apostle John writes:
“And this is the confidence we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have made of him” (1 John 5:14,15).
Then he immediately calls believers to apply the principle of asking God to give life to unbelievers (v. 16). Our strategy in the kingdom of God must include the prayer with authority so that the light of God penetrates through the blindness caused by Satan.
Besides, we need to pray like paul in Ephesians 1:18,19, that the eyes of believers may be enlightened to understand the power, authority and spiritual protection that constitute our inheritance in Christ. To the extent that satan can keep us in the dark about our position and authority in Christ, he can keep us bogged down in our growth and he can make our witness and ministry ineffective. We need to continually pray to each other so that Satan’s smokescreen is lifted and our vision is crystal clear.

2.- We must bind the strong man
Other purpose of prayer with authority is he “strong man” mentioned in Matthew 12:29. Jesus said, referring to Satan and his demons: “For how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and plunder his possessions unless he first binds him? And then he will be able to plunder his house ». In other words, you cannot free a man or woman from the bandages of spiritual blindness or from all demonic influence if you do not first defeat his captors.
Satan has no power, because that power is overcome by Christ on the crossbut he will not stay calm until he sees the men and women tied up that he thinks he can immobilize, however there is the possibility that anyone who believes that they have received all authority from God our Lord then satan will flee.
The Pray without ceasing, it does not mean that you are trying to convince God to join us in our service to him. Prayer is the act where we make a union with the administration of God. Through faith we are able to snatch the treasures that are in the clutches of Satan and that by origin, correspond to God alone. We persist in achieving it until Satan has to let them go.
line of defense against demonic influence
- pray without ceasingr for demons to cut off all communication and help from other demons and from Satan.
- Pray without ceasing for the demons to be stunned and broken in their dominance over people.
- Pray without ceasing so that people are strengthened in confidence and understand their condition in Christ, rest and fulfill the Word of God.
- Pray without ceasing that people will be able to distinguish between their thoughts, feelings and those of Satan.
- Pray without ceasing that people can recognize the demonic presence, are not confused, and are willing to seek spiritual advice and help.
- Pray without ceasing so that God protects and guides the children, and puts the angelic forces into action to bring down all the machinations of the enemy.
