Most pure Virgin, conceived without sin, and, from that first moment, all beautiful and without blemish, glorious Mary, full of grace, Mother of my God, Queen of angels and men: I humbly greet you as Mother of my Savior, who , with that esteem, respect and submission, with which he treated you, he taught me what honors and veneration I should pay you; deign, I beseech You, to receive those that, in this Novena, I consecrate to You. You are the safe asylum of penitent sinners, and so I have reason to have recourse to you; you are Mother of mercy, and, by that title, you cannot help but be moved by the sight of my miseries; you are, after Jesus Christ, all my hope, and, for this reason, you cannot fail to recognize the tender trust that I have in you; make me worthy to call myself Your son, so that I can confidently say to You: show that You are our Mother!
Ninth day of the Novena to Our Lady of Aparecida
O living light of holiness and example of purity, Virgin and Mother, Holy Mary, You, just conceived, deeply adored God and gave Him thanks, because, through You, the ancient curse was lifted, a great blessing came upon the children of Adam. O Lady, make this blessing ignite in my heart a great love for God; inflame him so that he constantly loves the same Lord, and then enjoys eternally in Paradise, where he can give him the most vivid thanks for the singular privileges granted to You; and I can also see you
crowned with such a victory.

Lady Aparecida, miraculous Patron Saint, be our guide in this deadly career! O Virgin Aparecida, shrine of the Redeemer, give the fainting soul your power and value. O Virgin Aparecida, faithful and safe north, obtain graces for us in life, favor us in death!

“O Holy Mary, through the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ, in your beloved image of Aparecida, you spread countless benefits throughout Brazil.
I, although unworthy to belong to the number of your sons and daughters, but full of the desire to participate in the benefits of your mercy, prostrate at your feet, I consecrate my understanding to you, so that you may always think of the love you deserve; I consecrate my tongue to you so that I may always praise you and propagate your devotion; I consecrate my heart to you, so that, after God, I may love you above all things.
Receive me, the incomparable Queen, you that the crucified Christ gave us as Mother, in the blessed number of your sons and daughters; welcome me under your protection; help me with all my needs, spiritual and temporal, especially at the time of my death.
Bless me, O heavenly cooperator, and with your powerful intercession, strengthen me in my weakness, so that, serving you faithfully in this life, I may praise you, love you and give you thanks in heaven, for all eternity.
