Love in the Bible says:
“In this is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:10).
Love is the essence of God, it is the unique purpose that manifests the attributes and designs of God.
What is love biblically?
Love is the beginning and beginning of all the commandments that God has given us. Every time we love, we are similar to him.
“We love, because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19).
Absolute and unconditional love is agape love, it is a love that does not change with time or circumstances. This agape love is only achieved through our heavenly father, since it is a genuine and pure love that does not arise within us on our own. It can only emerge from God.
Love in the Bible – Old Testament
Jesus said that the great commandment in the old testament was: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:36 and Deuteronomy 6:5).
The second commandment mentions loving your neighbor in the same way as you would love yourself. It was fundamental since the entire law would then depend specifically on that commandment. This represents that if a person reasoned and obeyed these two commandments, he would reach and fulfill what the entire Old Testament was trying to teach. It is one of the essential and high-ranking keys as to the precept of God.
Love in the Bible-New Testament
What makes the new testament select and possible to be original is the appearance of Jesus, the son of God, on the scene of the genealogy of humanity. In Jesus, we see the pure manifestation of the love that God symbolizes.
In his word he says:
“He who has seen me has seen the father” (John 14:9; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:3). In a real understanding, Jesus was the manifestation of God himself (John; 20:28).
Love in the Bible and its characteristics
1.-Love is not rude
Being rude is a sign of irritation, it causes annoyance around other people, and it is an obvious sign of a lack of love. Being rude is expressing unnecessary and improper words. That creates an unpleasant environment, and creates a bad moment for everyone present at the time. Being rude is acting in an unseemly, embarrassing, or irritating way.
Nobody is interested in being close to a person with a type of attitude of bad behavior, where love is not the center of their words.
What I want to indicate is that genuine love cares about its manners: Good manners express; be a person of blessing, with whom everyone is comfortable and wants to be close always.
It is essential that you allow love to change your behavior and restore your essence. Where you are a being that changes the atmosphere with his presence, you must make a difference. In general, people who practice a good attitude increase the level of respect and admiration in the environment where they are.
2.-Love is not irritated
It is a virtue to be slow when it comes to anger, that anger be the powerful and the one that dominates your spirit, than the one that takes a city. (Proverbs 16:32)
True love does not show anger, it does not react in an irritating way, it does not tend to be offended, nor does it feel hurt only that there is a fully founded and just reason in the eyes of God, when you make use of love in the midst of thorns you are the only flower , what he wants to illustrate is that the way you should respond in difficult situations should always be framed in love.
3.-Love believes in everything
Love in the Bible says;
“He who believes everything, hopes everything”, (1 Corinthians 13.7)
Love in the Bible points out that you must be willing to believe the best in people. Give the benefit of the doubt. Love refuses to perfect what it doesn’t know with negative assumptions. And when the biggest fears turn out to be true, love does even the inadmissible to resist and move on.
Love is externalized in positive things as much as it reaches. It is essential to start thinking differently, let love guide and align thoughts.
God’s love in the bible
The scriptures say that
Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our beloved Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).
It is the category of love that God possesses. And by grace it can be transformed into your style of love; but first, you must adopt it, practice it, develop it, and then pass it on. The way for this love to emerge in your life is through God. By the grace of his great love for you he chooses to express that love through you, using you as a living instrument of his deep love.
How can you experience true love according to the bible?
You can hardly give more love than you have inside, you can make an effort and it would not be natural. So specifically the love that can withstand all the pressures in this life is out of reach if you are not surrendered to the lord. You need to learn that divine and pure love that comes from God himself. He is the only one who can teach you.
“Love is of God” (1 John 4:7)..
And only those who have allowed God to enter their hearts through the faith in his son, Jesus. Those who have received the spirit of Christ by believing in his death and resurrection begin to experience that love that comes from the kingdom of God, and can tap into the true power of love.
True love can be found through the original source-God.
The true and only love is found in the source of supernatural power that flows in the one who did everything according to his pure essence of love, that main source, it is God in true essence. C.When you surrender to Christ, his power can work through you and experience his greatness.
“He is able to do everything abundantly beyond what we ask or understand, according to the power that works in us, by him they are done” (Ephesians 3:20). So It is confirmed by the scriptures, without a doubt.
That love that he has poured out by his grace in our hearts did so through the holy spirit that was given to us in his promise, every time we choose to submit to his presence we reach his love. It is more than evident that you will not be able to do it without God.
