And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Comforter to accompany you always:
the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept because it neither sees nor knows him. But you do know him, because he lives with you and will be in you.
I’m not going to leave you orphans; I will come back to you.
Soon the world will see me no more, but you will see me. And because I live, you too will live.
On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
Who is the one who loves me? He who makes my commandments his own and obeys them. And whoever loves me, my Father will love him, and I will also love him and manifest myself to him.
Judas (not Iscariot) said to him: “Why, Lord, are you willing to manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?”
Jesus answered him, “Whoever loves me will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and we will make our home with him.
He who does not love me does not obey my words. But these words that you hear are not mine, but the Father’s, who sent me.
“All this I say now that I am with you.
But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.
