15 verses with blessings from God for those who obey him

Obedience to God should be the logical response to his love and all that he has done and is doing for us. A life of obedience to God is a life with a solid foundation, capable of facing the storms of life without completely collapsing.. Do you want your life to be like this? Live in obedience to God.

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Jesus answered him: Whoever loves me will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and we will make our home with him.
(John 14:23)

Do you love God? You will want to obey it! It is as simple as that. And as you show your love for God through obedience, you will feel within you the conviction of his presence. Living according to God’s will will make you more sensitive to his presence and love. This is so because you will remove the consequences of sin and the sense of guilt that comes as a result of disobedience.

6. Answered Prayers

Dear brothers, if the heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God, and we receive everything we ask of him because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him.

11. Transformation and understanding

Therefore, brothers, taking into account the mercy of God, I beg each of you, in spiritual worship, to offer your body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. Do not conform to the current world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. In this way they will be able to verify what is the will of God, good, pleasant and perfect.
(Romans 12:1-2)

When you see obedience as an act of worship to the Lord your mind is transformed. It no longer seems so sacrificial to you to do what God commands; you see it as your love offering for him. And that change of mentality full of humility allows you to understand what God’s will is for your life.

Teach me to do your will, because you are my God. May your good Spirit guide me through unobstructed terrain.
(Psalm 143:10)

If God is the King of your heart, you can freely ask him to teach you to obey and help you to walk in his will. His Holy Spirit is waiting for you to ask for his help and he will guide you to make life of obedience easier for you. You don’t have to do it alone!

With God as the King of your heart you give priority to the eternal because it is what matters most to him.

14. The affirmation and help of the Father

The Lord affirms the steps of man when his way of life pleases him; he may stumble, but he will not fall, because the Lord holds his hand.
(Psalm 37:23-24)

The Lord holds you by the hand. You may bump into some stones along the way, but you will be able to get up to continue because your loving Father will not let you go. He holds you and helps you!

15. Joy, satisfaction and blessing

Do not be content with just listening to the word, for in this way you deceive yourselves. Take it to practice. The one who listens to the word, but does not put it into practice, is like the one who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, leaves and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks closely at the perfect law that gives freedom, and perseveres in it, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it, will receive blessing by practicing it.
(James 1:22-25)

Obedience to God brings great satisfaction to the depths of our being. When you focus your efforts on walking faithfully within biblical principles, your heart fills with incomparable joy. It is the clearest sign of a heart transformed by the power of God’s love and forgiveness. Live feeling that great satisfaction every day of your life!
