(Jesus resurrects the daughter of Jairus) In the face of adversity, various reactions appear: flee, murmur, wait, or face the situation.

As children of God we must act with the wisdom of the Lord, keeping in mind that he never sleeps, he takes care of us, and that before a crisis comes into our lives, God already knows it and has provided a way out for the victory of their children. Let’s see this interesting study
JESUS RAISES JAIRO’S DAUGHTER (Devotional No. 069)
“When Jesus returned, the multitude received him with joy; because everyone was waiting for him. Then a man named Jairus, who was the head of the synagogue, came and prostrated himself at Jesus’ feet and begged him to come into his house; because he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, who was dying. And as he went, the crowd oppressed him.”, Luke 8: 40-42.
the true joy It consists in knowing Jesus. “When Jesus returned”, the context teaches us that he had left Galilee, and he came from Gadara, he was surely returning to Capernaum, his city in Galilee… the inhabitants knew his power and awaited him with joy. We observe that Jairus was the principal of the synagogue (that is, administrator of order in the synagogue), he had a humble heart, because “prostrating himself at his feet… he begged him”, he had his only daughter mortally ill, and he believed in Jesus and looked for him.
Miracles usually have to overcome some obstacles, such as unbelief, and along with it, fear, discouragement and inconstancy. Jairo was told: “don’t bother the Master anymore, he has already died”, and disbelief is sometimes contagious, and it was producing fear and discouragement in Jairo.

In addition, he had to overcome the crowd, the passage teaches us that “the crowd received him with joy” and “the crowd oppressed him”, it was not easy to reach the teacher. On other occasions it is pride, unlike many principals and Pharisees, Jairus humbled himself before Jesus recognizing him as Lord and God.

Constant faith achieves miraclesdefeat mockery and contempt, “And they made fun of him, knowing that she was dead. But he, taking her by the hand, cried out, saying: Girl, get up. Then her spirit returned, and she immediately got up.”

(Luke 8:53-55). Everything is possible for God, everyone said “he has already died, nothing can be done, everything is lost”, but definitely God has the last word. He perseveres and declares trust in God, because we see that in Jairus’ house everyone cried and lamented, but the Lord Jesus declared a different word, because people of faith speak differently.

God rewards faith. We can see the Lord manifesting his power and will, Christ is the resurrection and the life, and has the power to raise the dead, and restore what has been lost… He can raise the one who has fallen, and even the one who has died. He performed the miracle, Jesus resurrects the daughter of Jairus, and they were stunned-amazed-impressed, although the vast majority did not believe it was possible… “What is impossible for men, is possible for God.” The Lord Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever.

Final reflection: Our God is Almighty, there is nothing difficult for Him, just seek His presence, the obstacles will fall, and the supernatural of God will become manifest. Just like Jairus, come close to Him, believe and persevere, and others will be amazed at what God will do.
