Humility and subservience are two things that they go from the hand, according to the word of God we must as christians subordinate ourselves one under the other in humility.
“In the same way, young people, be subject to the elderly, and to all, submissive one to another, clothed with humility, because God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.”
Doesn’t mean we should be passive people and silentbut that we know how to act correctly under any situation and never be the same the one who hurts or humiliates us.
Let’s be humble like the apostle Paul
In Corinthians 11:1 Paul is known to have said, “Become imitators of me, just as I am of Christ.
The apostle Paul is a great example of humility in the bible, and we observe it when we remember when he recognized being a slave of Jesus Christ, he told the elders of Ephesus that he had been a servant of the Lord with the greatest modesty mental and with tears.
Jesus Christ, the best example of humility
In the bible we can find lots of stories that show us the humility of Christ, he was able to abandon his own reputation just to help others. He always turned the other cheek, and despite being falsely accused and many times humiliated by other people, never thought to respond in the same way, or to take revenge on them.
This is the humility that seeks, that we are beings capable of accepting that on earth some people will not act according to their laws and they will want humiliate their believers. But our mission is don’t let us defeat nor allow them to cause us to want to pay them in the same currency.
Moses the best representative of humility
Let us remember the Wise words of Robert G. Ingersoll “If you want to know what someone is really like, give them power”, Moses had a great power in his hands, and he never allowed that power to go to his head.
Moses never wait be the unique with authority, when the Lord allowed other Israelites to be prophets, Moses never felt jealous about it, and on the contrary he rejoiced at the good news.
Humility is the basis of progress
the one who is not humble at heart You will not be able to obtain progress in your life, because people who do not have humility live their lives wanting to be better than others and seeking to place stones in their paths. Be humble, rejoice in the victories of othersand help those who have fallen, this is what the Lord wants from those who follow him.
Let’s learn from them biblical Examples, Let’s learn from Moses who never wished for more power, nor felt displaced when more people were able to get to where he was. Do not expect anything in return when you give something, and let us be among those who prefer to give than receive, when we are all humble of heart our rewards come from aboveand not of those who are on earth with us.
Let us allow God to use us for his work, let us be his image, transmit his being, God has gifted us each one with excellent talents, through them he has great works of transformation in our lives. Let’s not envy the other’s talent, and better start using ours, in order to show God how much humility exists in our hearts, and from there be victorious and blessed during all we have left of life on this earth.
Let us become worthy to enter the kingdom of heaven, let us be humble of heart. Pray every day and ask God understanding and wisdom so that it makes you a better person in the coming times.
