Everything works for the good of those who love God – Monsignor Jonas Abib

We know that “everything works together for the good of those who love God” (Romans 8:28). If we love God, if we are involved in his love, everything works for our good. The opposite also happens: everything spoils us, harms us, harms us, if we are not living in the love of God.
“As for us, we know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers” (I John 3:14).

The Lord wants to resurrect us to love. God wants to deeply heal us from everything that ended up killing the love in us. Perhaps in front of your closest neighbor, that is, your family members, children, brothers, parents, husband…, you have had to say: “My God in heaven, I don’t love, I don’t feel love”. Precisely because of this the Lord wants to make a resurrection in your life.
There is love in you! But, unfortunately, by not feeling this love, you end up telling yourself that you don’t love. You accuse yourself and condemn yourself for it.

When we turn to the Lord, we feel His love and we begin to love: we come back to life. We know that we have passed from death to life, because God’s love is in us. Because we are turned to Him, we begin to love our neighbors.
