CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP (SEMINAR)

Seminar: CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP (Composed of five conferences)

Conference 1 of Leadership Christian:

DESIGNED BY GOD TO MANAGE
Do not listen to people who try to discourage you, follow your path, trust in God and believe in the abilities that he has placed in you, renew your strength in the Lord because by persevering we will fulfill the divine plan for our lives. Success is achieving on earth what was designed in heaven. Let us now consider the origin of man…
Being the image and likeness of God implies managingGenesis 1:26
“Then God said: Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let him rule over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the heavens, over the beasts, over all the earth, and over every animal that creeps on the ground. Earth”
God creates man and the first function and responsibility that he gives him is “master”, this word comes from the Hebrew term “radá” which also translates: to be in charge, to direct, to exercise dominion. From the beginning man receives a delegation: direct or manage.
Precisely for this reason God gave man authority, Genesis 1:28 “And God blessed them, and said to them: Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the heavens, and in all the beasts that move on the earth”.

The Lord tells man: “subdue the earth”, the Hebrew term for subjugate here is “kabásh” which also means: to conquer, to subdue. To do that divine will, God equips Adam with authority and gives him enough to do it and do it well. God created man with the ability to manage or lead, he never commands us to do something without having equipped ourselves to do it.

We are now going to consider the crisis of Moses regarding the call that God makes to him. Behind all the complications in the life of this leader was the Lord preparing him.
God had designed in heaven that Israel would be led by Moses, how every leader should be prepared and equipped to provide excellent service. Although sometimes we do not understand the events of our life, the Lord is aware of his plan with us, he always sees what lies ahead.
Generally, before the divine call to lead a project, excuses, fears and an internal struggle arise. Moses felt incompetent and unprepared to lead. In Scripture many leaders had the same struggle.

(We invite you to read: Decide to change your times.).
Let us see in detail the struggle of Moses before the call of God:
He struggled with his identity: Exodus 3:11-12,14, “Who am I?”. God replies: “Go, because I will be with you… you will tell them: I AM WHO I AM sent me to you”, something like: “it doesn’t matter who you are, the important thing is who I am” and God is almighty, he is everything enough, it has life in itself and the power to give it, that is why it can even resurrect the dead.
He struggled with the uncertainty of the future: Exodus 4:1 “Behold, they will not believe me, nor will they listen to my voice.” The Lord gives him power and tells him: “they will believe”, trust me. Fear is defeated by faith in God and in the power of him.
He struggled with his human incompetence: Exodus 4:10 “I am slow of speech and dull of tongue.” God replies: “Who gave a mouth to man? Am I not Jehovah? he sees, and I will be in your mouth, and I will teach you what you are to speak.”
He struggled with a feeling of inferiority: Exodus 4:11, “I beseech you, send anyone else.” God allows his brother Aaron to go with him, but he keeps calling Moses. So we see how the Lord himself is the answer to all his concerns and the provision for all his shortcomings.

Foundations of effective leadership:
Discover a real need. In his time Nehemiah stood out for being sensitive and able to perceive the need shown by God and get involved by divine direction in the solution.
They have the gift for the specific moment (given by God). They have a gift that perfectly matches the need of the moment, they are competent in the area. It is very important to recognize the gift that God has given us to put it at the service of others.
They develop a passion. In the leader a passion is awakened that consumes him, that passion is irresistible for many and therefore he shares it and many get involved. Passion makes up for lack of resources. There is no doubt, it is good to have resources, however many of Israel’s judges were not rich in money, people or talents when they started.
Gideon was afraid. Samson was lacking in strong morals. Jephta was impetuous. It seems that Ibzán, Elón and Abdón were people already older in age. This does not stop people if they have passion.
He knows how to lead people. When Jesus appears in Galilee preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, many begin to follow him, and he dedicates himself to twelve disciples in particular (later seventy more appear). Leaders don’t act alone, they have a team. They know how important others are, because they recognize the value and importance of others. We must keep in mind that serving others is the greatest testimony of leadership.
They walk towards a goal. It is almost impossible to talk about leadership without talking about goals. To lead without a clear sense of God-given purpose is to walk toward scattered, confusing, and discouraging results. It is vital to have a vision, when there is no vision we are walking blindly and therefore we stumble over everything, wasting time and resources, passion is lost and frustration appears.
We are God’s creation and he is the leader par excellence. The different stages of our life (even the most difficult ones) have been part of our integral growth, approaching the Lord is knowing more clearly the reason for our life on earth, approaching God is allowing him to heal what has affected our leadership. We must apply the gifts received and help others to know its design and purpose, so that together we can honor God by doing what we should do.

Christian Leadership Conference 2:

A CHRISTIAN LEADER HAS A PASSION FOR GOD

Introduction: We easily fall into the routine or religious life, producing this fatigue and even contempt for the things of God. Let us remember that Jesus said to the church of Ephesus: “I have against you that you have left your first love”.

Questions arise like when did we lose it? How did this happen? It is necessary to renew our love for God, the absence of it makes the heart dry like desert land. But when we turn to him, the desert blooms and turns green as the water of life runs again. Now consider the example of Elijah and Elisha:

2 Kings 2:9-10 “When they had passed by, Elijah said to Elisha: Ask what you want me to do for you, before I am taken away from you. And Eliseo said: I beg you that a double portion of your spirit be upon me. He said to him: Difficult thing you have asked. If you see me when I am taken from you, it will be done to you like this; more if not, no”

1) Our heart must be passionate for God.
Comment: In the Christian life, passion for the presence of God and perseverance in the face of difficulties and trials are vital. We see that on three occasions Elijah asks Elisha to stay in different places, but he perseveres, following the prophet Elijah.

Elisha wanted a double portion of the Holy Spirit that was upon Elijah’s life. In the Old Testament the Holy Spirit came upon men, but in the New Testament he dwells, he lives in the children of God, however we see that men like the prophet Elijah and Elisha knew him intimately, and the latter wanted more.
two) The Lord has new things to give us.
Comment: The chariot of fire sent to pick up Elijah is a manifestation of heaven on our earth. The kingdom of heaven is being established on earth. The ministry of the prophet Elijah had ended, now a new time begins and the prophet Elisha becomes the new instrument of the Lord.

Thank the Lord for all the blessings achieved, but we must prepare ourselves because a new time is coming, a new stage that we must manage with great wisdom, so that what the Lord has planned is not lost, but rather we see a greater glory of our God.

(I invite you to read: How can I overcome through faith.).
3) All the glory belongs to God.
Comment: Let us keep in mind that the one who does the work is ultimately God. Those of us who serve the Lord are instruments and vessels in his hands, and without his blessing and support we can do nothing effective and transcendent, the prophet Elisha said: it will be bigger.

In the ministry of the prophet Elijah we see seven powerful miracles, while in the ministry of Elisha we see fourteen miracles (a double portion), because the Lord keeps his word, and it says: “the latter glory will be greater than the first.”

4) Let us recognize that we need each other.
Comment 1: In our service for God, teamwork is essential (2 Kings 2:15-17). The prophet Elisha was not alone, there was a team with him. And they recognized him as the servant of God.

What they saw in him is also very important: “they said: the spirit of Elijah rested on Elisha”, the Spirit of God gave evidence or signs that it was on Elisha, it gave signs that a new time had begun. So we see that Elisha’s attitude was not one of imposition, but he acted with prudence and wisdom and God showed that he was moving through him.

Comment 2: A leader of God is not imposed by force, he inspires his team, that is the leadership that we see in the Lord Jesus, we see that the apostles gave their lives for the Master, not out of fear of him, but out of love and gratitude to him. So leadership is not imposition, rather it is inspiration.

Comment 3: A leader of the Lord takes into account that he does not work alone, that his achievements and benefits are not individual but group, that love is fundamental, to have patience, wisdom and tolerance, and the results will always be greater, thus glorifying the Name of the Lord. . We are a body and it is God who with his love gives life to his body: the church, all washed by the blood of the Lamb of God.

Mr wants to lead us from glory to glory, that’s why we must keep these things in mind: passion for His presence, fervently longing for the power of the Spirit of God, and working as a team, all seeking that God be glorified. Advance, the Lord brings new and glorious things for your life and family.

Christian Leadership Conference 3:

A LEADER MUST KEEP IN MIND THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD

“Moses was herding the sheep of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, led the sheep through the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And he appeared to him on…
