(My relative is generous). Name of people from the OT.

1. Father-in-law of Aaron (Exo 6:23).

. Father of Naason, of the tribe of Judah (Num 1:7). He is listed as an ancestor of King David (Ruth 4:19) and in the genealogy of the Lord Jesus (Mat 1:4; Luke 3:33).

. Eldest son of †¢Coat (1Ch 6:22).

. Levite, “chief of the sons of Uzziel”, who in number of one hundred and twelve participated in the transfer of the ark to Jerusalem in David’s time (1Ch 15:10).

. In Ca 6:12, the bride says that her soul was † œplaced between the chariots of A. † This expression is not clear, perhaps because the poetic language pointed to something or someone widely known at the time but of which (or of which). who) no longer has memory. Some think that it was about cars recognized for their lightness when running. Others try to eliminate the word A. as a proper name and apply its Hebrew meaning, that is, “my relative is generous” or “the fellow of the tribe has been generous”. Thus, the text could be read: †œmy soul placed me among the chariots of my generous relative† . However, the removal of A., as a proper name is somewhat difficult.
