It’s hard to keep our spirits up when we’re going through hard times. But we must remember that we are not alone. In the most difficult hours, the Bible offers us words of comfort that help us continue. It is in Jesus that we can find the encouragement we need to overcome all difficulties.
1. Salvation comes from God
The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is his strength in times of trouble.
(Psalm 37:39)
God sustains you in the hour of difficulty. If you love God and have dedicated your life to him, God will take care of you even in the midst of the greatest problems. Trust in God. He is powerful and he will help you overcome adversities.

2. Don’t give up
Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm and unshakable, always progressing in the work of the Lord, knowing that your work in the Lord is not in vain.
(1 Corinthians 15:58)
When you find yourself in the middle of a mountain of difficulties, you may feel like abandoning God and giving in to sin. This is not the solution! Perhaps you will get temporary results, but if you stay faithful you will see how God does great things in your life and through your life.

3. God strengthens
Do not fear, because I am with you. Do not be afraid, because I am your God. I will strengthen you, and I will also help you. I will also uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
(Isaiah 41:10)
Your strength may fail, but your life is secure in God. When you think that you can no longer continue, approach God, remain faithful and he will give you the necessary strength. Jesus will help you win the victory over discouragement.

4. Courage to win
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
(Philippians 4:13)
The apostle Paul also went through sufferings and needs, and there were times when he felt discouraged. But he discovered that in Jesus he could endure all those things and come out victorious. If your heart belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ, you too will be able to endure everything with courage and with the hope of greater glory.
