1. Deceiving teachers and prophets; false christs

Many will say that they are the Christ or that they are messengers sent on his behalf. They will speak lies, but they will be able to confuse and deceive many with their words, miracles and signs.

Therefore, if they tell you: “Look, he is in the desert!”, do not go out; or: “Look, he’s in the house!” Don’t believe it.

(Matthew 24:9)

But you guys take care. They will hand them over to the courts and flog them in the synagogues. For my sake they will appear before governors and kings to testify before them.
(Mark 13:9)

And when you’re arrested and put on trial, don’t worry ahead of time about what you’re going to say. Only declare what you are given to say at that moment, because it will not be you who will speak, but the Holy Spirit.
(Mark 13:11)

But before all this, they will lay hold of you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and prisons, and for my name’s sake they will bring you before kings and governors. This way you will have the opportunity to testify before them. But keep in mind that there is no need to prepare a defense in advance, because I myself will give you such eloquence and wisdom to answer that no adversary will be able to resist or contradict you. You will be betrayed even by your parents, brothers, relatives and friends, and some of you will be put to death. Everyone will hate you because of my name. But not a single hair on your head will be lost. If they stand firm, they will be saved.
(Luke 21:12-19)

5. Great rebellion or apostasy

Many of those who call themselves Christians will abandon the faith because they will not withstand the pressure against them. Others will decide to follow false teachings. There will also be a great rebellion against God and against Jesus, something worldwide.

At that time many will turn away from the faith.
(Matthew 24:10a)

Do not be fooled in any way, because the rebellion against God has to come first.
(2 Thessalonians 2:3a)

The Spirit clearly says that, in the last times, some will abandon the faith to follow deceitful inspirations and diabolical doctrines.

So when they see in the holy place “the horrible sacrilege”, of which the prophet Daniel spoke (he who reads, let him understand)…
(Matthew 24:15)

Do not be deceived in any way, because first the rebellion against God has to come and the man of evil, the destroyer by nature, must manifest. He opposes and rises up against everything that bears the name of God or is worshiped, to the point of taking over the temple of God and pretending to be God.
(2 Thessalonians 2:3-4)

Then that evil one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy with the splendor of his coming. The wicked will come, by the work of Satan, with all kinds of false miracles, signs and wonders. He will wickedly deceive those who are lost for having refused to love the truth and thus be saved.
(2 Thessalonians 2:8-10)

After this, in my night visions I saw before me a fourth beast, which was extremely hideous and possessed of enormous strength. With its great iron fangs it crushed and devoured its victims, then trampled on the remains. It had ten horns, and was nothing like the other beasts.
As I stared at the horns, I saw another, smaller horn rise up between them. Because of this, three of the first were uprooted. The little horn seemed to have human eyes, and a mouth that uttered insolence.
(Daniel 7:7-8)

The ten horns are ten kings who will come out of this kingdom. Another king will succeed them, different from the previous ones, who will overthrow three kings. He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints; he will try to change the festivities and also the laws, and the saints will remain under his power for three and a half years.

Now when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, know that your desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the city leave it, and those who are in the country do not enter the city. That will be the time of judgment when everything that is written will be fulfilled. Woe to those who are pregnant or nursing in those days! For there will be great affliction in the land, and punishment against this people. They will fall by the edge of the sword and will be led captive to all nations. The Gentiles will trample down Jerusalem, until the times appointed for them are fulfilled.

(2 Peter 3:3-4)

13. General Perversity

Lack of respect towards others and lack of compassion will be noticed. Evil will be the norm, people will not feel remorse for causing harm to others.

Now, keep in mind that in the last days difficult times will come. People will be full of selfishness and greed; they will be boastful, arrogant, blasphemous, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, ungodly, insensitive, unforgiving, slanderers, libertines, ruthless, enemies of all that is good, treacherous, impetuous, vain, and more friends of pleasure than of God. They will appear to be godly, but their conduct will belie the power of godliness. Don’t mess with those people!
