11 verses of encouragement for women

There are many challenges that life presents us and sometimes we feel burdened and overwhelmed. The Bible offers us many words of encouragement that fill us with peace and renew our strength. The Word of God strengthens us and helps us continue on the path of life with faith and optimism, clinging to our Lord.

1. Trust, the Lord helps you

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and not in your own intelligence.
Acknowledge him in all your ways,
and he will pave your paths.
(Proverbs 3:5-6)

Put your trust in the Lord! Do not try to find the solution by yourself. Go before the Father in prayer. He recognizes that he is in control of the situation and knows what the solution is. She is attentive to his direction and walks the path that he indicates to you.

2. Go to the Father

Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
(Matthew 11:28)

Do you feel overwhelmed by difficulties? Go to the Lord! Tell him what happens to you, give him your burdens and receive his peace. In God you will find the rest you need to be able to continue.

3. In God you are strong and worthy

It is clothed with strength and dignity,
and face the future with confidence.
When he speaks, he does so with wisdom;
when he instructs, he does it with love.
(Proverbs 31:25-26)

Do not think that you do not have the strength to face your problems or that you do not deserve to improve your situation. God grants you the strength and he enables you to act and even be a blessing in the midst of any difficulty. In him you are safe!

4. The Lord protects you

Impregnable tower is the name of the Lord;
the righteous run to it and are saved.
(Proverbs 18:10)

Trust in the power of God. Call on his name and wait on him. Take refuge in the strong arms of the heavenly Father. He watches over you and in him you are safe.

5. God listens to you and answers you

But you, Lord, surround me like a shield;
you are my glory;
you hold my head up!
I cry out to the Lord with a loud voice,
and from his holy mountain he answers me. selah
(Psalm 3:3-4)

Rejoice that the Lord sustains you in the midst of any situation. He will not leave you embarrassed. You can cry out for his intervention, confident that he hears you and will respond at the right time.

6. Evil will not prevail

No weapon that is forged against you will prevail;
every tongue that accuses you will be refuted.
This is the inheritance of the servants of the Lord,
the justice that comes from me
says the Lord.
(Isaiah 54:17)

Are you a servant of the Lord? Then you can rest easy! No evil will prevail against you. They can attack you or speak ill against you, but they will not defeat you. Your beloved Lord and God will do justice! That is your inheritance.

7. You can take refuge in God

Good is the Lord;
It is refuge in the day of trouble,
and protector of those who trust in him.
(Nahum 1:7)

God is good and awaits you with his open arms: you can take refuge in him! When you think you have no one to turn to, remember that the Lord welcomes you and protects you at any time because you have put your trust in him. God will not fail you!

8. Live for the Lord

Charm is deceitful and beauty fleeting;
the woman who fears the Lord is worthy of praise.
(Proverbs 31:30)

The world places more importance on the outside than on the inside, but strengthening your inner being and your relationship with God should be your priority. Fear the Lord, live for him and others will notice. You will be a blessing and you will impact all those around you for the glory of the Lord.

9. In Christ there is peace

I have told you these things so that in me you may find peace. In this world you will face afflictions, but take heart! I have overcome the world.
(John 16:33)

When you find yourself afflicted, remember that the Lord has already overcome the world. Hold on to him and receive the immense peace from him that has no equal. Afflictions are temporary, but the peace that God gives you is lasting. Strengthen yourself in it!

10. There is comfort and life for you

This is my consolation in the midst of pain:
that your promise gives me life.
(Psalm 119:50)

The promise of the Lord, his Word, brings life. He will not let any of his promises go unfulfilled. He fully trusts God’s faithfulness in the midst of any situation. He will restore you.

11. Nothing will separate you from the love of the Lord

Yet in all this we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither what is present nor what is to come, nor powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love that God has manifested us in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(Romans 8:37-39)

The Lord loves you with an everlasting love. There is no one like you in the whole world, you are special to him! God created you just the way you are and his love for you has no end. You can be sure that there is nothing and no one that can separate you from his love, not even the saddest or most difficult circumstance. ¡Rest in the love of your heavenly Father, take courage and trust in his great power!
