ZAHERIR – Encyclopedic Dictionary of Bible and Theology

Verbally or physically harassing a person. Repeatedly accusing you of something inconvenient true or false. It supposes a tone of offense and therefore ethical deficiency, unless it is done to obtain a greater good, such as correcting something that is vicious. In any case, behind such an action there must always be an honest motivation and never a lack of charity or respect for the injured person.
