At the beginning of Psalm 32, the psalmist declares that he is happy since he confessed his sin to God and He forgave him.
He stopped hiding his guilt from God and after that, he received the revelation with these four priceless promises.
«The Lord says: I will instruct you, I will show you the path you must follow; I will give you advice and watch over you.” Psalm 32:8 (NIV)
God’s promises for the new year
1.- I will instruct you. God will give you life instructions and he will also train you to understand them and put them into practice. He will open your understanding with his wisdom and will lead you to the knowledge of his Person, he will let you know his hidden secrets in the Word of God.
2.- I will show you the way. When God shows you the way, it means that he is leading you towards your will. He himself will make you choose to do good and not evil. He will shape your behavior and regulate your conduct to make blessing decisions. He will open your eyes so that you always choose the best option for your life.
3.- I will give you advice. God will be your personal advisor. When you need guidance, you only have to go to Him for advice. He will always be near you to help you in those moments when you don’t know what to do.
Develop the habit of reading the Bible; because that way you can hear the voice of the Holy Spirit reminding you when you need God’s advice.
4.- I will watch over you. In the Reina Valera 60 version she says: “I will fix my eyes on you.” The Lord promises that he will always be watching over you, watching over you day and night. All year and all your life. He knows that the enemy will also be close to you wanting to confuse your soul to deceive you and keep you away from the good that God has for you.
God offers you constant protection to deliver you from the dangers you face in your spirit, your soul and your body.

Now, you just have to confess each sin to be free of guilt and enjoy freedom. God will forgive you immediately and you will regain the strength to believe in the promises that he is revealing to you now.
With these four promises from God for the new year, you have no room to go astray. If you believe them and take them for your life, surely you will be on the right path for the blessing; because you will always move in the will of God.
Imagine: He will teach you, guide you, advise you and protect you! There is no way for you to stray. There is no option to fail with the King in front of you. You will have a year in total prosperity. That I assure you.
