Here are some Bible verses that serve to honor all those dedicated mothers that we know and who deserve our love and respect. It is good to take a moment from time to time to give a word of blessing and encouragement to those special mothers that God has placed in our path.
1. Recognize your value
Exemplary woman, where will she be? She is more valuable than precious stones!

Let her know that you appreciate and value everything she has done for you. There is not enough money in the world that can repay all the love and care that she has given you. Recognize it as a precious gift from God to your life.
2. Appreciate their kindness

As a general rule, we respond better to kindness and affection than to yelling. Thank mom for her patience and kindness even in your most stubborn and rebellious moments. Express your respect and admiration, tell her about specific situations in which you could feel her love and her care for you.

Say a prayer of gratitude to God for her. Thank the heavenly Father for putting her in your life and for the moments of joy shared as a family.
4. Honor her
Honor your father and your mother, so that you may enjoy a long life in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
– Exodus 20:12
This is one of the ten commandments and the first with a promise (Ephesians 6:2-3). We do well to honor and treat our parents with respect. Many mothers put aside their own dreams and desires, putting those of the family before them, especially those of their children. Honor your mom today by doing something special for her: prepare her favorite dish, take her for a walk, watch the sunset with her. Do something to honor her.

Give thanks to your mom for all the unconditional love she has given you and gives you. Maternal love is a small reflection of God’s love, that love that forgives and expects the best of us, a love willing to sacrifice itself for our good. Make up your mind to fill your heart with that love.
6. Appreciate their wise advice
When he speaks, he does so with wisdom; when she instructs, she does it with love.

Give thanks to mom for all the wise advice she has given you over the years. She recognizes her wisdom and her love in dealing with you and with others. Remember a few times when her wise advice helped you make the right decision.
7. Acknowledge their good example
Her children get up and congratulate her; her husband also praises her: “Many women have accomplished feats, but you surpass them all.”

Talk to her about the good things you’ve learned from her. Remember her example and tell her how you have put into practice the virtues you saw in her. Express how you have seen God’s character reflected in his behavior and his attitudes.
8. Compliment her beauty
Charm is deceitful and beauty fleeting; the woman who fears the Lord is worthy of praise.
– Proverbs 31:30
There are no eyes more beautiful or full of tenderness and love than the eyes of a mother. Tell mom how beautiful she is to you, how her smile and care brighten and beautify the home. Tell her how inspired you are by her love for God and her desire to please him at all times.
9. Bless her on her day
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord look at you with pleasure and extend his love to you; may the Lord show you favor from him and grant you peace.”

Write a blessing prayer for your mom. Speak words of encouragement to his heart, words inspired by the loving heart of the Father. She blesses the path that she still has to go, and asks that God’s company, favor and peace be with her at all times.
