1.- Ruth

Ruth was a Moabite woman who left her country and her gods to serve the God of Israel. This woman showed great love to Naomi, who was her mother-in-law. She was a good daughter-in-law, a hard worker, for which she earned an excellent reputation in Naomi’s city, Bethlehem.

On the other hand, Ruth was willing to leave her country and her family because of the great love she felt for Naomi and for God. She showed that she was a loyal, hard-working woman and delivered to the Lord despite difficult times.

2.- Anne

Hannah was the wife of Elqana and the mother of Samuel, who became an important prophet in ancient Israel. She sought the comfort of the Lord because she did not have children even though she had been married for many years.

She suffered the ridicule of Peniná, who was her husband’s other wife, with whom she had been able to have children. But Ana prayed to God to comfort her. She also made a vow to him in which she promised him that if she gave him a male child, she would give him to him to serve him in the tabernacle.

God answered her prayer and gave her a son, whom she named Samuel and, as she had promised, she took him to the tabernacle to serve God there. This servant of God was able to endure her mockery and her pain and anguish because she cried out to the Lord and had faith in her response.

3.- Deborah

Deborah was a prophetess of Jehovah, and was used by him to reveal to the Israelites what they needed to do. This woman courageously supported those who worshiped God. Jehovah told him to send for Barak to tell him to lead the Israelite army to fight the Canaanites.

Then Barak asked Deborah to come with him. She was brave and he was not afraid and agreed to go with him. God helped the Israelites achieve a great victory. This virtuous woman and prophetess of the Lord, she sacrificed herself for others and she was brave because she fully fulfilled the Lord’s mandate. She also encouraged others to do what was right in the eyes of God and she did not hesitate to reward them greatly, since she was fair.

4.- Esther

Esther was a young Jewish woman who was chosen by the king of Persia, Ahasuerus, to be queen. She used his influence to prevent the slaughter of his people. He learned that a law had been issued setting a date to kill all the Jews under the Persian Empire. This evil plan was the idea of ​​Haman, who was the prime minister

So she put her own life at risk and with the help of her cousin Mordecai revealed the evil plan to her husband King Ahasuerus, so he allowed Esther and her cousin Mordecai to issue another law that would allow the Jews defend themselves. Finally, the Jews won a great victory against all their enemies.
