The Lent of Saint Michael the Archangel must be prayed between the 15th of August and the 29th of September (except on Sundays, the day dedicated to the Lord), the day of the Feast of Saint Michael. It can also be prayed at other times of the year for a period of 40 days.
To prepare for this Lent you need:
* Light a blessed candle in front of an image or print of Saint Michael the Archangel;
* Offer penance during the 40 days;

Consecration
O most noble Prince of Angels, valiant warrior of the Most High, zealous defender of the glory of the Lord, terror of rebellious spirits, love and delight of all the righteous Angels, my beloved Saint Michael, desiring to be part of the number of your devotees and servants, the Today, I consecrate myself, give myself and offer myself, and place myself, my family and everything that belongs to me under your most powerful protection.
The offering of my service is small, as I am a miserable sinner, but you will increase the affection of my heart; remember that, from this day forward, I am under your support and you must assist me throughout my life and obtain forgiveness for my many and serious sins, the grace to love God with all my heart, my dear Savior Jesus Christ and my Holy Mother.
Obtain for me those aids that are necessary for me to obtain the crown of eternal glory. Defend myself from the enemies of the soul, especially at the time of death. Come, O most glorious prince, assist me in the last fight, and with your powerful weapon cast away, precipitating into the abysses of hell that proud and promise-breaking angel that you once prostrated in combat in Heaven.
