In the book of Psalms we find several verses that can help us meditate and pray in times of illness. Let us pray and trust! Almighty God is with us in the midst of any situation. He listens to us and will act according to his will.
Psalm 6:2-4, 9
Have mercy on me, Lord, because I faint; heal me, Lord, that a cold of death runs through my bones. Anguished is my soul; How long, Lord, how long? Turn around, Lord, and save my life; for your great love, save me!

Psalm 23:1-4
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing; in green pastures he makes me rest. Beside still waters he leads me; he gives me new strength. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Because of my foolishness my sores stink and ooze. I am overwhelmed, completely despondent; I am upset all day. I am burning with fever; there is nothing healthy in my body.
