Partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who devoutly recite the hymn Veni Creator (O Come, Creator Spirit). The indulgence will be plenary on the first of January and on the Solemnity of Pentecost, if the hymn is recited publicly.

Repel our enemy, and grant us Your peace, if by grace You guide us, we leave evil behind.
To the Father and the Savior Son, through You we may know, who proceed from His love, make us always firm in believing.’
