Because I was hungry, and you fed me; I was thirsty, and they gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and they gave me lodging;

I needed clothes, and they dressed me; I was sick, and they took care of me; I was in jail, and they visited me.”

And the righteous will answer him: “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
38
When did we see you as a stranger and gave you shelter, or in need of clothing and clothed you?
39
When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?”

The King will answer them: “I assure you that everything you did for one of my brothers, even for the smallest, you did for me.”
