Prayer to Mother Aparecida das Dores
Let us pray together this prayer dedicated to the Mother of Sorrows. When you are faced with some difficulty, going through a moment of pain, ask for her protection.
In the dawn of hope,
Your love illuminates us with peace
and brings us the season of faith,
that gives us back our smile
stolen by pain
of so many other pains.
Dear Mother Aparecida,
walk with us through the valleys of sadness
and leads us to the plains of serenity.
Pours over the garden of our heart
the dew of mercy,
so that they flourish
the seeds of love
in our gestures and words.
I returned your tender look
for our already tired steps,
and who are sometimes guided
along dubious and dangerous paths.
Beloved Mother,
we are your sons and daughters,
that we alone don’t know
where to go.
Without Your love, we are lost
in our spiritual orphanhood.
Lady of all people,
races and nations,
We entrust our people to You
and our families,
Comfort everyone with Your powerful intercession,
so that, following Your holy example,
let us witness life
that always blooms
in small gestures of love.
