Hour of Mercy – Training

‘At three o’clock in the afternoon, implore My Mercy especially for sinners and, at least for a brief time, reflect on My Passion, especially on the abandonment in which I found Myself at the moment of agony. This is the Hour of great mercy for the whole world. At that time I will deny nothing to the soul that asks Me for My passion…'(D. 1320)

Jesus Himself called three o’clock in the afternoon (when He died on the cross) a time of great mercy for the world. At this time mercy will be open to all people and, in particular, to sinners. ‘I will deny nothing to the soul that asks through my passion’.

‘Try to pray the Stations of the Cross at this time, as far as your duties allow, and if you cannot pray the Stations of the Cross, enter the chapel at least for a moment and adore My Heart, which is full of mercy. in the Blessed Sacrament. If you can’t even go to the chapel, retreat into prayer wherever you are, even if it’s for a brief moment.’ (D.1572), Jesus said to Saint Faustina.

Devotees of Divine Mercy, therefore, daily, at this time, whether at work, in their homes, shopping, etc… must elevate their thoughts, uniting the sacrifice of their lives with the sacrifice of Calvary to complete what is missing from the Passion of the Lord (see Col 1:24).
