Saint Augustine was a great philosopher and Doctor of the Church
, great theologian, philosopher, moralist and apologist. He was born in Tagaste, Tunisia, in the year 354, son of Patrício and Santa Monica. He wrote 232 books, as well as countless treatises, sermons and letters.
