9 Verses of Encouragement for Young Christians

Sometimes it can be difficult to be a young Christian in the midst of the society in which we live. In the Word of God you will find inspiration to live the life that God desires. Cheer up, young man! He lives in obedience to the Father. The Lord is with you helping you, blessing your life and guiding your path.

1. Your example can inspire others

Let no one despise you for being young. On the contrary, that believers see in you an example to follow in the way of speaking, in conduct, and in love, faith and purity.
(1 Timothy 4:12)

Live a life that glorifies God at all times. You can be an inspiration to others in the service of God and your example can be a blessing to others.

2. Think of God

Remember your creator in the days of your youth, before the bad days come and the years come when you say: “I find no pleasure in them.”
(Ecclesiastes 12:1)

Don’t let the years go by and turn into a whirlwind of meaningless activities. Remember the Lord your creator. Think of him and live each day holding his hand.

3. You are a winner

I have written to you, young people, because you are strong, and the word of God remains in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
(1 John 2:14b)

God has given you a special strength that will help you defeat the evil one. Turn to the Father in your moments of weakness, memorize his Word, fill yourself with his Holy Spirit and live like a winner.

4. You have the best guide

How can the young lead a life of integrity?
By living according to your word.
(Psalm 119:9)

Do you want to live a life of integrity and blamelessness? God left you his Word as a guide. Read it and live according to the will of the Father.

5. Enjoy, but be careful

Rejoice, young man, in your youth; he let your heart enjoy adolescence. Follow the promptings of your heart and respond to the prompting of your eyes, but know that God will judge you for all of this.
(Ecclesiastes 11:9)

Life is full of opportunities that you want to take advantage of. Enjoy! But do it wisely, always seeking to please God. Your life is a gift from God. Live it for his glory!

6. Pleases God

Flee from the evil passions of youth, and strive to follow justice, faith, love and peace, together with those who call on the Lord with a clean heart.
(2 Timothy 2:22)

Flee from what takes you away from God and look hard for what brings you closer to him. God will help you! You will feel the joy and satisfaction of living for him.

7. God uses you

“Don’t say, ‘I’m too young,’ because you’re going to go wherever I send you, and you’re going to say whatever I tell you to. Fear no one, for I am with you to free you.” The Lord affirms it.
(Jeremiah 1:7-8)

no matter how old you are you are a precious instrument in the hands of God. Do not worry! God guides you and equips you for the work he has prepared for you.

8. You are blessed

You, Sovereign Lord, have been my hope; in you I have trusted from my youth.
(Psalm 71:5)

What a great blessing it is to serve the Lord from youth! Thank God for the hope he brought into your life and continue to shine with his light impacting those around you.

9. Do your best

To the young, exhort them to be sensible. With your good deeds, give them your own example in everything. When you teach, do so with integrity and seriousness, and with a sound and unblemished message.
(Titus 2:6-8a)

You will not regret living for the Lord. ¡Give your best every day!
