The Coming of Christ Part 1 – 7 Telltale Signs

In “the coming of Christ part 1” we will show what that encounter with Jesus will be like for the second time here on earth. In the book of John 13:19 we can appreciate the prophecies: “From now on I tell you before it happens, so that when it happens, you can believe that I am He”

I invite you to read:

The coming of Christ part 1

The spirit of Antichrist as stated in the Scriptures tried to overthrow Jesus Christ at his first coming in Bethlehem, and that same spirit still mocks and seeks to deceive those who speak of the coming of Christ.

In the Bible we can find many signs that tell us about the coming of Jesus to earth. In the book of Matthew chapter 24 we can find that they tell us about the end of the age and the soon return of Christ to establish his kingdom on earth. This is seen in the following passage:

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world, as a witness to all nations; and then the end will come” (…) “For as the lightning that comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matthew 24:27)

On the other hand, both the Old and New Testaments record the return of Jesus Christ, who will come to claim his bride, overthrow Satan, and fulfill his covenant promise to Israel. But neither the hour nor the day is known, only the Lord knows.

Yet more Jews and Christians have been murdered in the last hundred years than in all the centuries since the flood. This is because Satan knows that his defeat is near, but before the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not shine, and the stars will fall from heaven, while the powers of the darling.

7 Signs before the coming of Christ

Jesus Christ ascended to heaven for the first time on a cloud, and many people watched him and the angel asked them: “Why do you keep looking at the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken from you to heaven, will come in the same way that you have seen him go to heaven. (Acts 1:2-11).

In the same way, in the book of Revelation 19:11-16, John tells us what Jesus Christ invited him to see and record. This included this mighty Day of the Lord. However, there is a set of signs that will occur before his coming.

The Bible tells us that on that day the heavens will open and Jesus Christ will lead a considerable number of people to make his second appearance on earth as the righteous King. It should be noted that there are seven aspects that you should consider in the second coming of Jesus Christ:

1.- The message of Christ to the churches

Jesus Christ makes known his warnings, rebukes, and promises to overcoming believers, both in the first-century churches and those that exist today. This can be seen in the following passage:

“Blessed is he who reads, and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep the things written in it; because the time is near (Revelation 1-3)

Jesus Christ exhorts the churches and tells us that those who win will be able to eat from the tree of life in the midst of the Lord’s paradise. They will not suffer damage from the second death, they will receive some hidden manna, a white stone with a new name.

Those who resisted evil and never turned away from God, will have pillars over the nations that Jesus Christ governs, they will be dressed in white garments and their names will not be removed from the book of life and Jesus Christ will confess their names before God and his angels.

Those who managed to win will become pillars in the temple of God and will have his name and the name of the city of God, and the new name of Christ on them. In the same way they will be able to sit with Jesus Christ on his throne.

The angel told John to write down everything he saw, the things that are and the things that will come to pass after these things. So as believers we must be attentive to the signs, not let our guard down, watch, pray, fast, read the word because this message is for his people, for his church, for his children and we must listen carefully, knowing that time It is near and we must be prepared.

2.- The Apostasy

From the book of Revelation 4 to 22, Jesus Christ teaches John what happens after these things. The faithful children of God are commanded to proclaim the gospel message until the Lord tells Jesus Christ to go for us, his children. In this regard, the word reveals the following:

“Do not allow anyone to deceive you in any way, for that Day will not come unless the fall occurs first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3).

In this quote, two events can be visualized, such as the fall and the appearance of the son of perdition. The most up-to-date translations refer to the Greek word “Apostasy” and associate it with this fall. This term means defection from the truth, disturbance, uprising.

In this sense, this word is pointing us to the son of perdition, whose Greek word is “Apoleia” which means impairment, disaster, cataclysm, unworthy. For a long time, believers have been trying to figure out who this alluded to man might be, this man of perdition.

However, the word ensures that your identity will be very noticeable when you make an appearance. So those who search the Holy Scriptures will know who he is by his actions.

3.- The seven seals as judgments

In order to decipher the messages and signs of the coming of Christ, it is necessary to organize each of the events that the Bible points out to us. In the book of Revelation 6 John is taken to the Throne of God, where Jesus Christ holds a book that is sealed.

Jesus Christ breaks the first of the seven sealed judgments on earth; And although we know that the events occur sequentially, we do not know for sure the exact time in which each of the events indicated in the Bible will occur.

The first four events are known as the four Horsemen to whom different judgments and catastrophes are attributed that will manifest in different areas of the earth.

The first rider goes out to conquer, the second goes out to bring peace from the land. Then the third horseman comes out with a pair of scales in his hand, possibly representing famine and the decline of leadership. In the same way, the Bible indicates that there will be more than three years of relative peace. As can be witnessed in the following verse:

“But I tell you truly, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when heaven was shut up for three years and six months, and when there was a great famine throughout the land.” (Luke 4:25)

With respect to the three final seals, these represent the beginning of judgments and more disastrous events, ending with events that the Bible indicates must take place before the Second Coming of Christ.

For its part, the sixth seal brings an earthquake, where the sun turns black, the moon turns red and the stars of heaven fall to earth. Heaven is parted and men seek to hide from the wrath of Christ, yet all things have not yet been revealed.

4.- Two witnesses announce the gospel

In the word of God we can appreciate the following regarding the two witnesses who testify about the gospel: “And I will give authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. And if someone wants to harm them, fire flows from his mouth and devours his enemies; so if someone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way ” (Revelation 11: 3,5).

In this sense, the Bible tells us that for three and a half years no one can harm these witnesses, who will proclaim the gospel. But when between the sixth and seventh trumpet, the Antichrist will kill these two witnesses, and they will be found dead in the streets of Jerusalem for three and a half days as the people celebrate their death.

At this, God will speak saying “Come here.” And they will go to heaven in the cloud. At that time 7,000 people in Jerusalem will be killed by an earthquake. The rest of the people will be horrified and glorifying the Lord.

While these events take place, 10 kings take over the world and rule it, and the Antichrist takes more power and eliminates three of these kings.

5.- The trumpet judgments

The Holy Scriptures tell us about these judgments: “When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels standing before God, and seven trumpets were given to them…another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer, and they gave him much incense, that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar that was before the throne.” (Revelation 8: 1-3).

While these judgments are manifesting, other signs from heaven are revealed to us that must appear before the coming of Jesus Christ: fire, smoke and hail, mixed with blood, which will be thrown from heaven to earth. The first trumpet ushers in this judgment.

Everything suddenly changes when the sixth and seventh trumpets are sounded, as does the attitude of the people who managed to survive. The book of Revelation 13 tells us of a leader, which refers to a beast that is killed by a fatal head wound but then heals. As seen in the word:

“And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, and its feet like a bear, and its mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne, and great authority. I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death, but his deadly wound was healed; And all the earth wondered after the beast.” (Revelation 13:2-3)

This false prophet will enter the Jewish Temple, proclaim that he is god, create his covenant, and make war with Israel. The Lord will grant him authority for him to act for forty-two months. And the false prophet of Antichrist will constitute a society, where there will be no cash, and in order to buy or sell they must have a mark on their hand or on their forehead known as “the mark of the beast” with the number “666”.

People who refuse to have the mark will be beheaded, but those who decide to make the mark will never inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, they will be in the lake of fire with Satan for eternity.

6.- The Lord does not forget his people

The Lord has a place prepared in the desert for the remnant of the Jewish people, who will be safe for three and a half years, and will come to know Jesus Christ.

On the other hand, God has prepared seven final vials of his wrath, which he will pour out on this earth. In the book of Revelation Chapter 16 we can appreciate these last terrible judgments that will take place.

With these cups, the wrath of God ends. However, the Holy Scriptures show us that after each container is spilled, people who are still alive will not regret their actions. The last bowl represents the greatest earthquake ever seen, which will divide Jerusalem into three parts, and where the cities of the nations will fall and immense hailstones will descend from the…
