“Girl… get up.” Mr. 5.41 records these words spoken by Jesus in an Arm dialect. from Galilee to the daughter of Jairus, the Jewish leader. The word used for girl comes from a root meaning “lamb” and is an affective term. The ms(s). N, B, C have koum for kōmi. This is due to the fact that the final vowel is not pronounced in some dialects.
