SUHAM – Encyclopedic Dictionary of Bible and Theology

Súham (Heb. Shûjâm, perhaps “depression”). Son of Dan, ancestor of a tribal family, the Shuhamites* (Num 26:42). In Gen 46:23 he is called Husim, * which results from the transposition of the first 2 letters of the Hebrew name.
