Who is Yemaya?
It is one of the oldest orishas. She was the first to be born, after Olofi (Supreme God) created the world. She besides being the goddess of the sea, and the queen of love and justice.
She dominates creativity and is also known as the goddess of fertility. She is the patron saint of sailors, fishermen and people who live in coastal areas.
