For those who do not know that they are Litanies, these are a series of very short prayers dedicated to the Holy Newborn Child of God, where their purpose is to request favors from God through the figure of the newborn Jesus. Litany to the Divine Child Jesus
Before knowing some sentences of the Divine Child Jesus, it is important to know that these prayers have a very relevant spiritual content for Catholic Christianity. Furthermore, the use of litanies is not something exclusive to our religion, since it is also used by other religious currents such as Orthodox Christianity, Judaism, etc. Even so, it is usually Catholics who use this type of prayer most frequently.

For many, litanies are considered a form of repetitive supplication, which emerged with the beginnings of Christianity. Although at that time they were known by the name Kyrie and are considered the original form of the litanies. Its use spread to the regions of Asia and Rome until today.
On a historical level, the Kyrie were considered religious prayers after the council of Vaison that was held in 526 AD by means of a decree that mentions approximately the following message: The beautiful custom that all the provinces of the east of Italy, where the Kyrie Eleison is sung with great enthusiasm, effect and compulsion at masses, matins and vespers. Where a song so pleasant and sweet that is pronounced every day and night will never produce tiredness or disgust.
Over the years, many litanies have been created with different purposes (many of them aimed at asking for the same request), so that today it is virtually impossible to group them all in a single article. Especially here in Latin America where its use is widely accepted and used more frequently than in other parts of the world.
Prayer to the Divine Child Jesus
As we indicated in the previous section, we can obtain the Litany to the Child God asking for different things. For this reason, below we will indicate several of them, classifying them according to the reason for which the request is made.
Litany to the Divine Child Jesus Asking for Healing
Many of the following litanies are used in different cities in Latin America to ask for health and the healing of a loved one’s illness. It is recommended to use them in quiet places, with temples, churches and chapels being the ideal places for this. Although the place is really the least important thing, the important thing is to pray from the heart and putting our will in the hands of the child god.
It is also important to note that many of the prayers can be expanded based on the person’s need and what they wish to ask for. By this we mean that there is no single way to pray, to say prayers. It should be noted that this particular litany works not only to ask for health, illness or the physical well-being of one or a loved one. It can be used to ask for other reasons of concern and interest: money, a particular problem, relationship, etc.

It is recommended to reflect after doing the litany and accompany it with an Our Father or a Hail Mary.
Litany and Rosary to Raise the Divine Child God
This type of prayer is somewhat different from the one we saw previously, the prayer is still directed to the child God and is still done with the intention of making a request, the variant is that the prayer is accompanied with a rosary that is done at the beginning At the end. The steps to do it correctly would be: make the rosary, pray the litany, repeat another rosary and finish with the carol song. It is more laborious, but it is a more prayerful way of putting our request.
The use of these litanies is made more frequently in Latin American countries, on the other hand; They usually contain a greater spiritual, cultural and religious burden for the people who carry them out. There are some celebrations that are based on this structure to pray. For example: in Venezuela there is an activity called the “Paradura del Niño”, in Colombia we can find a variant known as “Lifting of the Child God”.
