Effective Christian Preaching for Young People – Sermons, Outlines and Bible Studies

“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come, and the years come when you say: I have no delight in them;” Ecclesiastes 12:1

Today’s youth urgently need Christian preaching and teachings, to guide them in the various areas of their lives, we see how our young people are leaning more and more towards sin (fornication, vices, homosexuality, etc.) and they do not seek the word of GOD, that is why our great responsibility to promote much more Christian preaching that speaks to the heart of the youth. This preaching aims to give a general approach to the subject and provide useful tools to the leadership of the church.

“Also flee from youthful passions, and follow justice, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart“ 2 Timothy 2:22

Likewise, young men, be subject to the elders; and all, submissive one to another, clothe yourselves with humility; because: God resists the proud, and he gives grace to the humble. 1 Peter 5:5

These are wonderful biblical foundations to develop effective Christian preaching focused directly on young people and it deals with reality and the tests that young people go through today, they talk about such delicate issues as youthful passions and respect for authority in general, the open message of all the media in these times have led young people to disrespect and debauchery in general

The bible is loaded with teachings that can be addressed to youth, it is up to us to convert them into Christian preaching and put them in the hands of all young people around us and even outside of it.

Without a doubt, the crucial point of a Christian sermon for young people is that it be a blessing and that it be perfectly received by the youth. It is clear that today the life of young people is much more complex than we think, it is a reality that many of these Christian preaching in the future will be taught by today’s young people, that is why our churches must carefully focus on this ministry so that they can provide suitable leaders and preachers who understand and share Christian preaching.

I am convinced that there is a huge need for Christian preaching that deals more closely with the reality of youth, their struggles, strengths, weaknesses and crises.

Knowing its reality, we can carry out an adequate and effective Christian teaching or preaching, helping them to know Christ and walk in Him. Renowned preachers and evangelists direct their Christian preaching to youth, these preachers mainly seek that their Christian preaching be effective for all. young people, but what really makes Christian preaching effective is that GOD is the one speaking through the preacher and not the preacher speaking empty words.

The reality is that our young people live completely in a world totally separated from God preferring to go to a disco than to go to church to listen to Christian preaching.

Many Christian sermons for young people about sexuality are rejected by society because they are considered taboo, personally it is in this way that effective Christian sermons for young people have to be, since there are adults who affirm that if they had listened said Christian preaching on sexuality when they were young, they would not have made the mistakes that mark them today, because if young people are not spoken to in this way they could make the same mistakes as such people.

“It is good for a man to bear the yoke from his youth.” Lamentations 3:27.

The word of GOD says that the only way for the young to clean their path is by keeping the word of the Lord, all this can easily be a teaching or as we say “an effective Christian preaching for teenagers”.

“With what shall the young man cleanse his path? By keeping your word.” Psalm 119:9

The focus of effective Christian preaching for young people can also refer to the fact that Christian Youth can form a rich set of values and principles within the church based on the Word of God, which make the young person use Christian preaching to evaluate themselves. themselves, and later take those same Christian preachings to other places and be an example or a testimony for other people.

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example of the believers in word, conduct, love, spirit, faith and purity.“ 1 Timothy 4:12.

Christian sermons for young people can be “encouragement”, “consolidation”, “reflections”, “teaching”, “Bible studies”, etc.

Therefore, we have established that society needs more Christian preaching that tries as much as possible to help those young people who are immersed in sin. Faced with a society without fear of God, the Christian church must be the answer and not adopt a wrong position.

Young people need direction from the Word of God to overcome the constant pressure of the enemy and that is often difficult to resist, the church must give answers to their questions, concerns, crises and expectations through Christian preaching.

Adolescence and youth are inevitable stages in life, it is there where you begin to be aware of all the tests and contradictions of this world, and it is much more difficult if the young person is alone and without direction, that is why it must be taught to the young people of today a true doctrine through Christian preaching.

We must understand that adolescents and many young people tend to visualize reality in their own way without any problems, but it is also true that we must not close our ears to their criticism and opinions.

“I am writing to you, parents, because you have known the one who is from the beginning. I write to you, young people, because you have defeated the evil one. I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.” 1 John 2:13.

CONCLUSION:

Mothers intuitively protect their children.

But when they don’t, God is always ready to help those who seek him. Isaiah 49:15

There are mothers who think that not making their children angry, or giving them everything they ask for, is being a good parent.

But children must be educated in the good ways of God, and if they do not obey, it is important to correct them so that they straighten their paths. “The rod and correction give wisdom; But the spoiled boy will shame his mother.” Proverbs 29:15

Parents should teach their children from an early age that God commands them to honor their parents. Matthew 15:4

It is the duty of parents to take the time and train children to be good children, good citizens, good employees, good husbands and fathers. It all starts at home. It is the duty of the parents. It is your responsibility towards your children and society, but above all, it is your duty towards God. A mother who instructs her children is leaving her an inheritance that will continue for good for the rest of her life. She “trains up a child in her way, and when he is old she will not depart from him.” Proverbs 22:6

CALL:

And you, what kind of mother are you?

A good mother is not just the one who sacrifices herself and keeps awake for her children. A good mother is the one who selflessly instills in her children the love of God. Respect for others, selfless service, and honesty. A good mother is one who teaches her children to respect others. One that does not allow her children to steal, lie, insult, hit, be unfulfilled or disrespectful, or lazy.

Teaching is illustrated by example.

You, are you raising God-fearing children or criminals?

It is time for you to reflect on the inheritance that you will leave to your children.
