BLOODY – Encyclopedic Dictionary of Bible and Theology

Synonymous with cruel, violent and aggressive to the point of having no qualms about spilling the blood of others. It is one of the most negative adjectives that can be given to a person, since blood is assimilated to life and life is the most sacred thing that man has received from God. No one owns her and she will have to give an account in the judgment before the Lord of life and death.
