Do you feel that your faith falters? Do you think that the road is very hard and that it is difficult for you to continue? Remember that the Lord is with you!
Follow the example of the prophet Habakkuk. When he saw the people decline spiritually, he did not give in to discouragement. The remembered all that God had done in them and for them, and went before the Father in prayer and intercession asking for a revival.
Lord, I have heard of your fame; Your deeds, Lord, amaze me. Realize them again in our days, make them known in our time… (Habakkuk 3:2a)
Remember all that the Lord has done for you! Come closer to God in intense prayer, listen to his voice and allow his Holy Spirit to renew your faith today.
Cheer up! Revive your faith!
1) Remember the power of the gospel
Truly, I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for the salvation of all who believe…
(Romans 1:16a)
Hebrews 11:1 says that faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the assurance of things not seen. And it is through faith in Jesus that we are saved. You can be absolutely sure that if you believe in Jesus with all your heart, you are saved: the power of God has already worked in you.
The certainty of being part of God’s family gives you courage to move on when the road gets complicated. There is nothing and no one more powerful than our God! Don’t focus on circumstances or your own weaknesses. Focus on the immense transforming power of God, on all that he has achieved for you, and move forward with the strength that he gives you, living for his glory.
2) You have been forgiven
Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven and their sins covered! Blessed is he whose sin the Lord will not take into account!
(Romans 4:7-8)
Do not doubt God’s forgiveness! Don’t let guilt overwhelm you for sins committed before or even after you met Jesus. Remember that you are happy, blessed! You have been forgiven! When God looks at you, he sees Jesus and his wonderful work in your life. Even when you fall, God is with you and sustains you, guides you and advises you to straighten your path and walk within his will forever (Psalm 73: 23-28). Praises God! Thank him for his forgiveness and for his great love for you.
3) Christ lives in you!
I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. What I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.
(Galatians 2:20)
Remember that you are not alone: Christ lives in you and gives you the necessary strength to overcome temptations and live a life that pleases and glorifies the Father. You can live a life of obedience! Keep your mind focused on the great power of Jesus and the immense love that God has for you. He allowed his Son to die on the cross in your place so that you may enjoy abundant and eternal life with him. So great and incomprehensible is his love.
4) Ask God to increase your faith
Then the apostles said to the Lord: Increase our faith!
(Luke 17:5)
Is there something that seems too difficult for you? Ask God to increase your faith. In Luke 17, Jesus was teaching his disciples about forgiveness, how they should forgive people from the heart even if they committed constant offenses against them. The disciples realized that the only way to fulfill what Jesus told them was with a more alive faith, more solid, bigger. So that’s what they asked him: Increase our faith!
Do you find yourself facing challenges that are too big and difficult? Ask God to increase your faith, to turn it on, to help you have the measure of faith necessary to overcome and succeed in the midst of that situation. He will do it!
5) You have what it takes to win
…because everyone who is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that overcomes the world: our faith.
(1 John 5:4)
The faith you have placed in Jesus as Lord and Savior enables you to overcome the world. You are a new person! The Spirit of God dwells in you and helps you overcome temptations and feel peace in the midst of problems. With Christ you can face all circumstances. Don’t let the enemy fool you into thinking you can’t handle the pressure, the betrayal, the pain… Remember in whom you have placed your faith: in the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Victory is already yours through the Lord Jesus Christ.
6) Feed on the Word
So faith comes as a result of hearing the message, and the message that is heard is the word of Christ.
(Romans 10:17)
Do you want your faith to grow, to be revived and strengthened? Feed yourself with the Word of God. Read it every day, listen to Bible messages, immerse yourself in the Word, attend Bible studies at your church. Remember what Hebrews 4:12 says:
Indeed, the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword. It penetrates to the depths of the soul and spirit, to the marrow of the bones, and judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
God will speak to you and affirm you through his Word.
7) Believe and you will see wonderful things
Didn’t I tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God? Jesus replied.

Do not give up! Keep believing and trusting in the promises of the heavenly Father. If Jesus was able to resurrect Lazarus even though he had already been dead for four days and was even beginning to smell bad, he can also work in you, bring new life to your spirit and renew your faith. Keep trusting in the power of our God! ¡Cry out to God, seek his presence every day and wait! You will feel her embrace again and her power in you.
8) You are equipped for battle
You, on the other hand, man of God, flee from all that, and strive to follow justice, piety, faith, love, perseverance and humility. Fight the good fight of faith; make eternal life yours, to which you were called and for which you made that admirable declaration of faith before many witnesses.
(1 Timothy 6:11-12)
Do you remember the day you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior? How much gratitude, how much passion to share that joy with others! Everything else, the material, became secondary. But over time you may have noticed a battle within you. On the one hand, the desires of the flesh. On the other hand, the desire to remain faithful to God and to always fulfill his will for your life.
¡Get your priorities in order! Continue with your hand clinging to God and let him guide you along the path of justice, mercy, faith, love, perseverance and humility. He has enabled you to succeed in his name. Stand on that security and renew your faith in the Lord.
9) Put your faith into action
I assure you, if you had faith as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it would move. For you nothing would be impossible
(Matthew 17:20b)
You may think that your faith is very small and weak. Don’t worry, the important thing is not the size of your faith but who it is placed on. If Almighty God, creator of heaven and earth, is the object of your faith, you can be sure that you will see great things. You just have to put it into practice by persevering in prayer.
Propose in your heart pray for God’s intervention in your personal situations and those of your family. Ask him for wisdom to pray within his will and wait. You will see the move of God in your life and in that of those you love and your faith will be strengthened.
10) You can deal with enemy attacks
In addition to all this, take the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the fiery arrows of the evil one.
(Ephesians 6:16)
God has not left you defenseless against the attacks of the evil one. Nope! You have the Holy Spirit of him in you, the great power of the Lord and the armor of God with which you can face the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6: 10-11). The struggle is spiritual, it is intense. But the power of God in you is greater than any attack of the enemy. Do not forget! Wherever the attack arrows come from, stay alert and use the shield of faith. Live the life that God wants for you and gain victory over sin.
11) Long for God to renew you
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew my steadfast spirit. Do not take me away from your presence or take away your Holy Spirit. Give me back the joy of your salvation; May an obedient spirit sustain me.
(Psalm 51:10-12)
You will grow in faith when you desire it with all your heart. Carry that longing in sincere prayer before the Father, allow God to renew your spirit. Ask him to examine your heart and your motivations, to show you what you need to change. Start making your decisions according to what God wants for you, not according to your own wishes.
Also pray to the Father so that he makes you understand everything that is in you that does please him. He receives his love and his affirmation in your life. He prays that God gives you the necessary strength to always live within his will.
